High heels

“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 5.3

This was the first teaching of Jesus. At first glance, it does not seem to draw too much attention. However, this is the basis of deliverance and salvation. If a person does not become humble like a child, it is impossible to be born of the Holy Spirit. Is it not the truth that sets one free? But how can it freed someone proud? Impossible. Unfortunately, many people, despite being in the bottom of the pit, remain on top of their high heels shoes. 

Conscience

"How forceful are right words! But what does your arguing prove?" Job 6.25

The words of a friend accompanied with Spirit edifies and comforts the soul. However, the conscience must be humble take heed of the Voice of God.

THE WISE MAN

"Give instruction to a wise man and he will be still wiser. Teach a just man and he will increase in learning."    Proverbs 9.9

A wise man thinks. A wise man is humble.
He is wise because he has invested his reason in wisdom. And above all, into God's divine wisdom.
He is humble because he listens to, learns and practices the Word of God. 

WHO HAS BELIEVED

"Lord, who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?"             John 12:38

You should be humble like a child, and at the same time, strong and courageous to confess your faith. By doing this, God will honor you with His Spirit, so that you can face your enemies and defeat them for His eternal glory.

CLUSTER OF GRAPES

"As the new wine is found in the cluster, and one says, 'Do not destroy it, for a blessing is in it,' so will I do for My servants' sake, that I may not destroy them all."Isaiah 65:8

Those who were called by God and for some reason fell away from the faith, but kept a humble heart and righteous character, God keeps them safe.

Vessel

"And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter; so he made it again into another vessel, as it seemed good to the potter to make."

Jeremiah 15:4

When evil prevails in one's life, it torments it daily, destroys it's self-esteem, steps on it, humiliates it, and brings it shame. But once one humbles himself before God, He comes to his rescue so he may become a new creature.

Humbleness

"Blessed are the poor in spirit, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven."

Matthew 5: 3

Humbleness of spirit deals with submission, servitude, and practice of the will of God. The Kingdom of God is made of people whose character is as such.

Humble

"Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion."

Romans 12:16

Pride comes before ruins, but those humbleness before honor. Those who want to be great before God, consider yourselves inferior to others.

Be like

"BIt is enough for a disciple that he be like his teacher, and a servant like his master."

Matthew 10:25

In order to serve, Jesus had to empty Himself and assume the form of servant. Those who want to follow Him must also empty themselves and humbly assume the form of servants. Otherwise, they'll continue the same kind of life.

God's habitat

"For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: “ I dwell in the high and holy place, with him who has a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones." 

Isaiah 57.15

God is always close to those who are afflicted, just waiting to be called. One must manifest their faith by crying out to Him.

Desire

" LORD, You have heard the desire of the humble; You will prepare their heart; You will cause Your ear to hear..."

Psalms 10:17

Blessed are those with a humble spirit, for God hears their cry. He's always ready to help and fulfil their desires.

Contrite Heart

"The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart—These, O God, You will not despise." Psalms 51:17

The contrite, humbled, and repented heart will always be welcomed before the Throne of God.

Restitution

" Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, and uphold me by Your generous Spirit..."

Psalms 51:12

This kind of heart points out the humble heart that recognises the need of forgiveness. This is what pleases God and brings us the answer.

Gladness

"The humble have seen it and are glad; You who seek God, let your heart revive." Psalm 69:32

For the afflicted, needy and the humble, God has devised the joy of salvation. Obeying his words is all it takes to receive plenitude of joy.

Humbleness Rewarded

"O LORD, You have heard the desire of the humble; You will strengthen their heart, You will incline Your ear."

Psalm 10:17

The promise was already made, and if it is written, it is to be enjoyed. God hears, fortifies, and rescues the humble of heart because they are the ones who give themselves completely, body, soul and spirit. The humble one does not question, he accepts, and this is of great value to God.
