"Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me." John 15.4To abide in Him means persevering to follow Him. Everyone has the power to decide whether to continue or to quit it. Jesus gives us the right to choose to continue or quit walking with Him, and if we choose to abide in Him, then He will remain in us. Otherwise, no deal. Nobody can blame others or the devil for failing to follow the path of salvation.

Your choice
"See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil." Deuteronomy 30.15Because of free will given to men, God can not make his choices. This responsibility is purely his. But if he wants to live well and to ensure the salvation of his soul, he must heed the Divine advice and practice it. Otherwise, he will live poorly and ensure eternal damnation.

A DIVIDED HEART
"But Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them: Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation and every city or house divided against itself will not stand." Matthew 12.25When your choices are well-defined it reveals the kind of person you are. If you are unable to define your position with the little things, how will you define your position when it comes to what is eternal?
This is why we have faith, but only a few are able to use it. Many have faith to sing, praise, pray and even attend church services but they don't have faith to take certain actions that will change their lives.

STEAL, KILL AND DESTROY
"The thief does not come except to steal and to kill and to destroy. I have come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly." John 10.10The Lord Jesus gives us two clear alternatives in this verse: Good and evil. Everyone must choose one. The world has witnessed evil's actions because they have turned their back on Good. But those who learn the Word of God and obey it, will surely reap it's fruit in abundance.

FRIEND OF THE WORLD
"Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God." James 4:4Those who know the Road to salvation but are drawn to what this world has to offer, are by choice, distancing themselves away from God. Jesus gave one hundred percent of Himself in favor of us sinners; therefore, He requires us to surrender wholeheartedly to Him.

The Inheritance
“As for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a loyal heart and with a willing mind; for the LORD searches all hearts and understands all the intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever.” I Chronicles 28.9
David left to Solomon an immeasurable inheritance. But the condition was that he remained loyal to the Lord his God. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever. Which one will you choose? The blessing or the curse?

Choice
"And they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and the Holy Spirit..." Acts 6.5
The election of Stephen required that he'd be filled with faith and the Holy Spirit. In other words, it's not enough for us to have faith to move mountains, we also need to be filled with the Spirit of God.

Friend
"Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God."
James 4:4
God gave us the freedom of choice: Him or the world. The option is ours. Who are you friends with?

Ponder
"Ponder the path of your feet, and let all your ways be established. Do not turn to the right or the left; remove your foot from evil."Provérbios 4:26-27
When taking an initiative or making a choice, ponder well, and above all, with the fear of God inside you. Life today depends on decisions made yesterday; life tomorow will depend on decisions made today.
