"Then some came and told Jehoshaphat, saying, 'A great multitude is coming against you from beyond the sea, from Syria; and they are in Hazazon Tamar' (which is En Gedi). And Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself to seek the Lord, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah." 2 Chronicles 20.2-3The devil works with a threatening word, to spread fear, and especially terror. He does not usually use the opponents as much as he does the people who are closest to us. That's right. He often uses those in which we trust most. However it may be, as the example of Jehoshaphat, when terror comes, start seeking the Lord and fasting immediately. The spirit of fear does not stand.

Confidence
"Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward." Hebrews 10.35Not to cast away the confidence means keeping the faith. Many have given up, are discouraged or even abandoned the Christian faith for not seeing their wishes done in their time. They forget that the virtue of trust has great reward before God.

To trust vs. To believe
"He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water." John 7.38
When you believe in Jesus according to the Scripture, the Holy Spirit must flow. If the Holy Spirit is not flowing, it is because there is no trust, but mere belief.
Believing is like the dating period where there is no commitment from either party. But trust relates to marriage, where both parties commit themselves to one another for the rest of their lives.
Most Christians think they trust when in reality they simply believe.

The cry of the believer
"Let the groaning of the prisoner come before You; according to the greatness of Your power, preserve those who are appointed to die." Psalm 79.11This groaning is not by just anyone, but someone who believes in the promises of the God of Abraham, and yet is a captive. Times have changed but the moaning continues...
O Mighty One of Jacob, rise up from Your Throne and come to the rescue of those who who put their trust in You!

MOUNT ZION
"Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever." Psalm 125.1Trust is a permanent state of faith. Being like Mount Zion means remaining unshakable under any circumstance. Even if all the Earth trembles and the other mountains shake, Mount Zion remains calm and peaceful because it is the Throne of the Almighty.
Who and what can possibly hold back or shake up those who are the Temple of the Holy Spirit.

WAR
"Though an army may encamp against me, my heart shall not fear. Though war may rise against me, in this I will be confident." Psalm 27.3The number of enemies you have and their power for destruction does not matter because those who live by faith and trust in the Lord have His full protection.

PATIENCE
"I waited patiently for the Lord, and He inclined to me and heard my cry." Psalm 40.1Trust is a virtue very few people possess. This is why very few people are also saved. Those who trust in God's promises aren't shaken by the storms. Instead, they wait patiently for their blessings because they trust that He who promised them is faithful and does not fail.

LIKE MOUNT ZION
"Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever." Psalm 125:1Aside from their everyday problems, those whose lives are completely surrendered on the altar of God firmly trust in His Promises. This trust is ignited when the Holy Spirit confirms His answer in their heart.

THE LORD'S BLESSING
"Then Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year a hundredfold; and the Lord blessed him." Genesis 26:12Even though he was sowing on the enemy's land, Issac was sure he was going to have a bountiful harvest because of the promises made to his father. This verse shows us how he not only believed in God, but he also believed in himself. That is the kind of faith that pleases God. Many believe in God, but don't believe in themselves. In this case it's impossible for faith to work.

THE POWER OF CONFIDENCE
"Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward." Hebrews 10:35Do not worry whether or not your dreams seem far from becoming real. The important thing is that you remain confident in God's Promises. That kind of faith guarantees achievements. And above all, it keeps your name written in the Book of Life.

Faith and trust
"For thus says the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel: “ In returning and rest you shall be saved; In quietness and confidence shall be your strength.” Isaiah 30.15
Trust is not a feeling. The strength of your arms is only a mere temporary emotion. But the power of the assurance produces peace and tranquility.

His Own
"Cast your burden on the LORD, and He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved." Psalms 55:22
Don't we have so much care for our children? If we are so full of mistakes and still behave that way with our own, how about God with His Children? The problem is that not all His children trust Him.

A New Song
He has put a new song in my mouth—Praise to our God; many will see it and fear, and will trust in the LORD. Psalms 40:3
Through the trust in God, many people have been filled with great joy. Our lips don't get tired of glorifying our Lord Jesus Christ...

Moments
"Bow down Your ear to me, deliver me speedily; be my rock of refuge, a fortress of defense to save me." Psalm 31:2
The difficult moments we face today have also been faced by David. And as he was saved, so will we. We only need to trust in God.

Retribute
"When I say to the righteous that he shall surely live, but he trusts in his own righteousness and commits iniquity, none of his righteous works shall be remembered; but because of the iniquity that he has committed, he shall die."
Ezequiel 33.13
Those who believe they're already saved and disregard their faith by living in sin may think that their past works of faith will guarantee their salvation - but they're lost.
We were saved, we are saved, and we will be saved IF we keep our faith away from sin.

Those who trust in God wait patiently for their answer. For it'll come in it's right tim, He will save.

Fear
"Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You."

This is the Word that uplifts and strengthens: when fear comes, I'll trust in Him who promised!

His Name
"Those who know your name trust in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you."Psalms 9:10
Those who have trusted their lives in the Lord Jesus, for sure, will never be forsaken. Sooner or later, they'll see His answer.

Sleep
"I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; for You alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety."
Psalms 4:8
There's life to those who have trusted their own in the Hands of the Lord Jesus. His Spirit drives them to interior peace and perfect nights' sleep.

Plans
“I know that You can do everything, and that no purpose of Yours can be withheld from You."Job 42:2
The faith of Job was not focused on the powerful works, but on the Creator of everything. He had a conviction inside of him that said nothing is impossible for Him.
