The wise

"Whoever comes to Me, and hears My sayings and does them, I will show you whom he is like." Luke 6.47

Wisdom is a virtue that few possess. Not because it is only available to a few people. But because few are willing to pay the price to acquire it.
The teachings of Jesus, when practiced, can materialize the impossible dreams. Those who are wise invest in it and reap a lifetime of distinction from the foolish.

THE WISE WOMAN

"The wise woman builds her house, but the foolish pulls it down with her hands."     Proverbs 14.1

The power of a wise woman goes far beyond what you can imagine. Her husband and children admire her because she makes a difference in their family.
The devil knows her potential and tries to make her act foolishly, like he did with Eve, Jezebel and many others.

THE WEAKER SEX?

"The wise woman builds her house, but the foolish pulls it down with her hands."    Proverbs 14.1

Wisdom is what makes women irreplaceable in building up their family.
On the other hand, when their is a lack of wisdom, she is an instrument of hell used for destruction.
During Solomon's reign, he found one man as he expected among thousands, but from among so many women, he could not find one.
Who says that we are the weaker sex?

ONE THING I DO

"...but one thing I do: forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus."      Philippians 3.13-14

Paul was wise. He made sure to put the past behind him, in order to move forward towards the future. Intelligent faith requires us to do the same. On the other hand, emotional faith insists on remembering the past to counteract the faith of the Spirit of God. 
Anyone who wants to obtain eternal salvation must forget about their past. 

WHAT IS MORE IMPORTANT?

"Therefore we must give the more earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest we drift away."     Hebrews 2.1

What could possibly be more important than our eternal life? 
Because they do not understand this, the blind and foolish have turned their back on the Divine truth and clung to the vanities of this world.
But the wise invest all of their life and all of their strength to achieve eternal life.

FEAR AND TREMBLE

"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction."     Proverbs 1.7

When the fear of God is absent from someone's life, the spirit of sin will dominate even the strongest man. With him come suffering, followed by death. These people's daily bread have shortened their days.
But the wise man prolongs his days by practicing the words that come from the mouth of God.

Hear and receive

"Hear, my son, and receive my sayings, and the years of your life will be many."

Proverbs 4:10

Obedience to the Word of God is a secret of long life with all its plenitude. The wise understand this well and observe this daily.

Speak with wisdom

"She opens her mouth with wisdom, and on her tongue is the law of kindness."

Proverbs 31:26

The lips of the wise woman exhales wisdom. In her few words, there's goodness present.

Known

"Her husband is known in the gates, when he sits among the elders of the land."

Proverbs 31: 23

The wisdom of the wise woman is her husband's perfume. And so he is honored and respected among all others.

Husband

"The heart of her husband safely trusts her; So he will have no lack of gain. She does him good and not evil all the days of her life. "

Proverbs 31:11-12

When the woman is wise, her house is well cared for. Her finances are controlled in such a way that there's no waste. Her husband is honored by her and trusts her completely.

Woman

"Who can find a virtuous wife? For her worth is far above rubies. "

Proverbs 31:10


Because she's so rare, in order to find her you need faith and much caution. Only the man who depends on the Holy Spirit can truly find her.

Uncalled

"In the multitude of words sin is not lacking, But he who restrains his lips is wise." Proverbs 10:19

When one speaks too much, one end up speaking of what is uncalled for. That's why it's better to listen. God gave us two ears and one mouth. What does that really mean?

Understanding

"He who neglects discipline despises himself, But he who listens to reproof acquires understanding." Proverbs 15:32

Those who do not listen to God's teachings will cause their souls to perish. However, those who obey the Words of the Lord become wise.

Prudent

"Who is wise, that he may understand these things? prudent, that he may know them? for the ways of the Lord are right, and the just shall walk in them; but transgressors shall fall therein."

Hosea 14:9

Those who accepts God's counselling are wise. Those who walk according to His Word are prudent, but those who ignore or reject His guidance will suffer condemnation.
