“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 5.3This was the first teaching of Jesus. At first glance, it does not seem to draw too much attention. However, this is the basis of deliverance and salvation. If a person does not become humble like a child, it is impossible to be born of the Holy Spirit. Is it not the truth that sets one free? But how can it freed someone proud? Impossible. Unfortunately, many people, despite being in the bottom of the pit, remain on top of their high heels shoes.

To those who yearn
“For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now I will arise, says the LORD; I will set him in the safety for which he yearns. Psalm 12:5
The oppression of the poor and the sighing of the needy have
always called God’s attention. However He can only come to their rescue when
they call upon Him. Salvation is for those who consider themselves lost. To
these, the Lord promises deliverance NOW.
