Dream of dreams

"But while he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit." Matthew 1.20

When one is generated by the Holy Spirit, he is holy, pure, has character, is true, is correct, flee from evil, is perfect in the eyes of the Father, is faithful, loves God, loves his neighbor, forgives, is patient, fears God, he is a new creature, a servant, obedient, his thoughts match the thoughts of God, his word is yes, yes, no, no, and he serves Jesus with all of his heart, with all his strength and with all understanding .
But when he is generated by flesh, nothing of this happens.

Vanity

"Ephraim is oppressed, crushed in judgment, because he was determined to go after vanity." Hosea 5.11 (NRSV)

All humans have at least a minimum of vanity. This is common to human nature. But what is not acceptable to the Lord is for one to be lead by vanity thoughts. The thoughts of the faithful must be guided by the thoughts of God. Ephraim preferred to walk in the vanity of his heart, which displeased the Lord and brought serious consequences for himself.

Determination

"The Lord of hosts has sworn, saying, 'surely, as I have thought, so it shall come to pass, and as I have purposed, so it shall stand.'" Isaiah 14.24

This thought teaches a secret to those who are loyal, obedient to the voice of faith: the determination in thought.
Yes, all those who are sealed with the Holy Spirit are able to think and determine what they want to happen.

FEELINGS AND THOUGHTS

"Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?"       2 Corinthians 6.14

One of the secretes to keeping the faith is staying away from those who are not of the faith. Why share feelings and thoughts with people that are opposed to the thoughts of God? Why open up your heart and speak about your dreams and projects of faith with the children of Belial?

2012

"Then He who sat on the throne said: Behold, I make all things new."   Revelation 21:5

New year, new life. That is what everyone hopes for. However, that is only possible when man listens to the words that come from the Throne of the Almighty. A new life depends on a new way of thinking and having a new attitude. What good is it to wish someone a happy new year, if that person continues doing the same mistakes? Those who are wise listen to God's good counsel.

FLESH OR SPIRIT

"For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace."    Romans 8:5-6

Those who seek to fulfill the desires of the flesh (soul) will reap pain and suffering, until they are finished off by death. 
But those who seek to obey the Spirit of God, that is, practice what the Word of the Spirit has inspired them, will enjoy the present and also the eternal salvation that is to come.

WALK IN THE SPIRIT

"I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh."    Galatians 5:16

How is it possible to be in a pit and walk in the Spirit?
Walking in the Spirit means that your mind is occupied with the Word of God throughout your day. 
When your thoughts are focused on the Almighty, it is impossible to fall into temptation because the Spirit of the Word sustains, supports and strengthens the faith.

Free from wickedness

"Wash your heart from wickedness, that you may be saved. How long shall your evil thoughts lodge within you?" Jeremiah 4:14

The impurity of the heart leaves the soul in darkness. Sin kills little by little. But when it's is rejected once and for all, the thoughts become like the thoughts of God and enlightens a person to have life.

Lamp

"The spirit of a man is the lamp of the Lord, searching all the inner depths of his heart." Proverbs 20:27

God knows when the lamp of the man is off, for the light of His counsel is not in his thoughts.

Evil thoughts

The thoughts of the righteous are right, but the counsels of the wicked are deceitful. Proverbs 12.5

The right thoughts are the thoughts of faith, in the thoughts of God.
In order to overcome evil thoughts all one needs to do is confess, speak, recite, exercise the thoughts of God.
That means exercise faith.
How many times? As many times as needed!

Assurance vs Doubts

"For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places." Ephesians 6:12

The spiritual war involves thoughts. The ones that believe against the ones that doubt. The thoughts that believe base themselves on the Word of God; the ones that doubt base themselves in negative words, in the five senses, in the circumstances, in other words, in the devil.

It's Written

"But He answered and said, 'It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God...Jesus said to him, 'It is written again, ‘You shall not tempt the LORD your God...Then Jesus said to him, 'Away with you, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the LORD your God, and Him only you shall serve.’” Matthew 4:4-10

Every word carries with itself a spirit. God's Word carries His Spirit, the devil's, His'. The Word of God brings a spirit of faith, conviction, courage, boldness -- God. The one of the devil brings a spirit of doubt, fear, cowardliness, incapacity. Which word has been guiding your mind?

Joy and Rejoicing of the heart

"Your words were found, and I ate them, and Your word was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart; for I am called by Your name, O LORD God of hosts." Jeremiah 15:16

When the human being drinks of the Word of God, his spirit resists the thoughts of doubts. And he overcomes himself, and above all, the devil.

Drink of the water

"...but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.” John 4:14

The water represents the thoughts of God. To drink from it is to drink from the Holy Spirit. It's from then on that we become a fountain of eternal life.

Gives life

"...for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.."

2 Corinthians 3.6


The Word of God represents God's thoughts. Just like human laws promote discipline, so does the Word of the Almighty. It's objective, however is to GIVE LIFE to those who practice it. Without the practice, it kills.

Word

"So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it."

Isaiah 55:11

The Word of God is given so it may be used as a defensive tool for your faith. Besides the spirit and live that it transmits, it cleans useless and vain thoughts in our minds.

THOUGHTS

“I the LORD search the heart and test the mind, to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his deeds.” Jeremiah 17:10

God searches our hearts and measures the desires of our souls. The Lords sees our thoughts and intentions, and according to this, His servants will or will not be blessed.
