Obedience

"By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called..." Hebrews 11.8

The entire Bible is summed up in a single message: obedience. Abraham was the greatest example of this. His relationship and friendship with God were marked by his obedience. Faith is obedience.

Look

"Look to Abraham your father, and to Sarah who bore you; for I called him alone, and blessed him and increased him.”         Isaiah 51.2

Look to Abraham means to follow his example of faith. He sacrificed his will to do the will of God. This is, his obedience demonstrated his faith.

Sent

" As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world."

                   John 17:18

The Lord Jesus gave the example of faith and obedience... now it's time for His followers to give this kind of love by faith through obedience.
