THE THIRSTY

"For I will pour water on him who is thirsty, and floods on the dry ground; I will pour My Spirit on your descendants, and My blessing on your offspring."     Isaiah 44:3
The wonderful Divine promises are not meant for curious or adventurous people. Nor are they for those who believe in luck or obtaining them without much of an effort. They are meant exclusively for those who are thirsty for God's Spirit. The invitation has been given to everyone. But only the thirsty have the right and privilege of receiving His blessing.

DEFEND

"May the Lord answer you in the day of trouble; may the name of the God of Jacob defend you."    Psalm 20:1
Everybody has problems. All the heroes of faith lived through them. They are what helps us grow and mature spiritually, making our trust in God unshakable. The Lord allows the furnaces to ignite, but He delivers His allies from the fire.

RIGHTEOUS AND UNRIGHTEOUS

"In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother."    1 John 3:10
The difference between the children of God and the children of the devil is in their works. The children of God practice righteousness. In other words, they do not live in sin.
As for the children of the devil, they practice unrighteousness. That is, they live in sin.

LIKE MOUNT ZION

"Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever." Psalm 125:1
Aside from their everyday problems, those whose lives are completely surrendered  on the altar of God firmly trust in His Promises. This trust is ignited when the Holy Spirit confirms His answer in their heart.

ANXIETY IN THE HEART

"Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression, but a good word makes it glad." Proverbs 12:25
An anxious heart chases after the wind. It tires it's owner, who never reaches their goal, causing them to become weak.
But those who trust in God's promises remain steadfast in His Word and are glad.

A GREATER GOOD

"And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from doing them good; but I will put My fear in their hearts so that they will not depart from Me." Jeremiah 32:40
Those who accept and rely solely on God's counsel have the right to a happy and successful life. His promise is very clear and doesn't leave any room for doubtful interpretations: I will not turn away from doing them good... This promise belongs to those who sacrifice in order to keep their everlasting covenant with God.

THE SIN THAT BINDS

"He who covers his sins will not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy." Proverbs 28:13
Although we may hide our sins from everyone around us, we can never hide them from God or from the devil. The success of many Christians has been blocked because their sins have left them in debt with the devil. But when you confess and forsake your sins, Jesus forgives you and opens up the door that leads to prosperity.
