Discernment

"But You have seen, for You observe trouble and grief, to repay it by Your hand. The helpless commits himself to You; You are the helper of the fatherless." Psalms 10:14

We can clearly see in these last days, the election of the children of the Light, with their discernment as to what is best for the cause of our Lord, while those who are corrupted spread lies and deceits.

Looking

"Then He told them a story: "A man had an apple tree planted in his front yard. He came to it expecting to find apples..." Luke 13:6

Faith, when practiced daily, pleases God as He sees His Children counting on His power. This glorifies Him.

Everyday

"God is a just judge, and God is angry with the wicked every day." Psalms 7:11

Humanity has been contaminated with unbelief, orgies, wickednesses, and worst of all, the indifference of God's existence and power.

Waiting

"Every morning you'll hear me at it again. Every morning I lay out the pieces of my life on your altar and watch for fire to descend." Psalms 5:3

Faith gives us the certainty that God is attentive to the broken-hearted who sincerely call upon Him.

Covenant of Peace

"I'm promising now no more anger, no more dressing you down. For even if the mountains walk away and the hills fall to pieces, my love won't walk away from you, my covenant commitment of peace won't fall apart." Isaiah 54:10

Problems may fall upon us big time, but as we find God's mercy, we're filled with peace.

Water

"Hey there! All who are thirsty, come to the water! Are you penniless? Come anyway—buy and eat! Come, buy your drinks, buy wine and milk. Buy without money—everything's free! " Isaiah 55:1

This water is the Holy Spirit. When one is filled by Him, one can possession of all the divine promises.

Man of sorrows

"He is despised and rejected by men, a Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief." Isaiah 53:3

The Lord Jesus is the Only One that understands us, knows our pain, how much we're despised, and our sorrows.

Rebuke

"Let the righteous strike me; It shall be a kindness. And let him rebuke me; It shall be as excellent oil;  Let my head not refuse it. " Psalm 141:5

A rebuke must never be considered bad, in fact, for those who are of God, it's a blessing.

Corpse

"The very moment you separate body and spirit, you end up with a corpse. Separate faith and works and you get the same thing: a corpse." James 2:26

Faith without works is a corpse. The body may be perfect, but without the spirit, it must be buried...

Iniquity

"And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold." Matthew 24:12

The coldness of the heart you find too often nowadays is a result of the iniquity abound. When one lacks spiritual values, moral values are usually affected with little and almost no true love left, which by the way, can only come from faith.

Like Children

"For an answer Jesus called over a child, whom he stood in the middle of the room, and said, "I'm telling you, once and for all, that unless you return to square one and start over like children, you're not even going to get a look at the kingdom, let alone get in." Matthew 18:3

Everything we tell a child, she believes and accepts it immediately because of her innocence. The same God requires from us to enter His Kingdom.

Lose

"And be very careful around them so you don't lose out on what we've worked so diligently in together; I want you to get every reward you have coming to you." 2 John 1:8

Satan and his gang know that it is easier to give up than to keep our faith. And so they persevere. But those who are of God maintain their faith upon the rock because of the conscience of their eternal future.

Effort

"...the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force." Matthew 11:12

Our Lord teaches us that salvation costs a high price. It requires effort, determination, courage, and attitude. You will have to sacrifice constantly throughout your life. If you're too shy about it, you'll be left outside waiting.

Blessed

"So, what a blessing when God steps in and corrects you! Mind you, don't despise the discipline of Almighty God!" Job 5:17

It's always good to attend to our Father's discipline, for He knows what's best for those who belong to Him, and so they go from victory to victory.

Goodness

"And now, Master God, being the God you are, speaking sure words as you do, and having just said this wonderful thing to me, please, just one more thing: Bless my family; keep your eye on them always." 2 Samuel 7:28

I will not seek anyone else but Your goodness. I wait and trust in Your Promises, for You are the True God.

None has failed

"As you can see, I'm about to go the way we all end up going. Know this with all your heart, with everything in you, that not one detail has failed of all the good things God, your God, promised you. It has all happened. Nothing's left undone—not so much as a word." Joshua 23:14

If one has walked in God's Ways and believed in His Promises, one can see each one of them being fulfilled in His children who have obeyed.

BY MY SIDE

"I have set the LORD continually before me; Because He is at my right hand,
I will not be shaken."
Psalm 16:8

With God by my side I overcome all tribulations all the while my soul is being soothed by the Comforter.

PREPARING THE WAY

"The one who offers thanksgiving as his sacrifice glorifies me; to one who orders his way rightly I will show the salvation of God!”
Psalm 50:23

Those who obey the Lord's commandments are sowing life to reap eternal salvation.

SACRIFICE

"Offer to God a sacrifice of thanksgiving and pay your vows to the Most High; Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I shall rescue you, and you will honor Me. But to the wicked God says, "What right have you to tell of My statutes And to take My covenant in your mouth? For you hate discipline, And you cast My words behind you."
Psalm 50:14-17

Although the animal sacrifices have been abolished, the spirit of sacrifice remains. It is the living and concrete expression of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. There is no expressing of faith without sacrifice, just as there is no sacrifice without faith. To memorize a couple of Bible verses or to eat in drink from the Lord's Supper is very easy. What is difficult is to live according to what you say you believe.

LITTLE FOXES

"Catch the foxes for us, The little foxes that are ruining the vineyards, While our
vineyards are in blossom."
Song of Solomon 2:15

We are always looking out for the more grotesque kinds of sin, like stealing, fornicating, betraying, and so on. These are the "big foxes". But the "little sins", such as gossip, white lies, pride, criticism and excessive vanity are constantly ignored in our day-to-day life. Those are the little foxes that are ruining the vineyards. Watch and pray lest you fall into temptation.

MY COVENANT

"But to the wicked God says, "What right have you to tell of My statutes And to take My covenant in your mouth? For you hate discipline, And you cast My words behind you."
Psalm 50:16-17

These words are to the hypocrites, those who say they believe in God when they do not. They memorize and repeat Scriptures, but they do not practice any of it.

INTELLIGENT FAITH

"While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal."
2 Corinthians 4:18

Emotional faith relies on circumstances and based on then, take harsh decisions. Supernatural faith has nothing to do with emotions, but with reason. To live by faith is to be aware of the invisible, for instance, to listen and obey the Word of God.

THE DAY OF THE LORD

"Near is the great day of the LORD, Near and coming very quickly; Listen, the day of the LORD! In it the warrior cries out bitterly."
Zephaniah 1:14

See how fast the days and even the years are passing by; the prophecy of His return will soon be fulfilled, and those who stay behind will wail with pain.

TRUST

"I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined to me, and heard my cry."
Psalm 40:1

Trust is against impatience and defies anxiety. Trust in God brings peace.

POWER OF GOD

"Where there is no prophetic vision the people cast off restraint, but blessed is he
who keeps the law."
Proverbs 29:18

When the power of God is not manifested, even those who are converted are susceptible to corruption; but when the Divine promises are fulfilled, there is joy among His children.

GAIN

"By your endurance you will gain your lives."
Luke 21:19

While the weak are discouraged by circumstances, the strong persevere. Those who want to maintain their salvation must persevere until the end.

HEART

"Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God."
Matthew 5:8

To be pure in heart means being sincere, having nothing to hide and free from grudges. Those are the ones who will see God.

UNDERSTAND

"Man's steps are ordained by the LORD, How then can man understand his way?"
Proverbs 20:24

Only the humble of spirit are able to fully comprehend some of God's purposes.

SADNESS FOR JOY

"You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; You have loosed my sackcloth and girded me with gladness."
Psalm 30:11

The Lord has taken suffering, shame and all sadness, away from His Children, and has replaced it with happiness and joy of the soul.

GOD

"For who is God, but the LORD? And who is a rock, except our God, the God who girds me with strength And makes my way blameless?"

Psalm 18:32-33

Faith deeply founded in the Eternal Rock leads us through perfect and safe ways. Who shall we fear?
