FURY OF THE OPPRESSOR

"And you forget the Lord your Maker, who stretched out the heavens and laid the foundations of the earth; you have feared continually every day because of the fury of the oppressor, when he has prepared to destroy. And where is the fury of the oppressor?"
    Isaiah 51:13

God gets angry with those who have Him as Lord, yet fear other mortals and the oppressor from hell.
Where is the fury of the oppressor? Who is He?
All the enemies of our God are crushed like worms beneath our feet. They know that, but sometimes, we forget.

FLESH OR SPIRIT

"For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace."    Romans 8:5-6
Those who seek to fulfill the desires of the flesh (soul) will reap pain and suffering, until they are finished off by death.
But those who seek to obey the Spirit of God, that is, practice what the Word of the Spirit has inspired them, will enjoy the present and also the eternal salvation that is to come.

LOVE

" 'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,' and '(love) your neighbor as yourself'."    Luke 10:27
If the love God is asking us for had anything to do with the emotions of the heart, it would be impossible to love Him. Because how could you feel love for the Unknown?
How could you demand any emotions from your heart?
The love mentioned above refers to a thought, followed by an action.
Biblically speaking, love and giving walk hand in hand. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son... John 3:16
Therefore, love is giving, caring, respecting, helping, overall it is doing something for someone you love.

SOUGHT HIM AND FOUND HIM

"but when in their trouble they  turned to the Lord God of Israel and sought Him, He was found by them."    2 Chronicles 15:4
Seek Me...
Return to Me...
Come to Me...
These invitations are for everyone. All those who have a real thirst for an encounter with the Eternal God.
It is His will to reveal, deliver, save and make everything new. However, you must seek His presence with sincerity. Jesus promises: all those who seek Me, find Me.

THE GLORY OF MAN

"Thus says the Lord: Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, let not the mighty man glory in his might, nor let the rich man glory in his riches; but let him who glories glory in this, that he understands and know Me, judgement and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight, says the Lord."     Jeremiah 9:23-24
The glory of man comes from knowing the Lord Jesus Christ. Who will introduce Him? Religions? The religious? The wise men? Who will introduce Jesus to mankind?
Only the Holy Spirit is able to do that. This is why we need to seek Him with all our strength, all our heart and all our understanding.

WALK IN THE SPIRIT

"I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh."    Galatians 5:16
How is it possible to be in a pit and walk in the Spirit?
Walking in the Spirit means that your mind is occupied with the Word of God throughout your day.
When your thoughts are focused on the Almighty, it is impossible to fall into temptation because the Spirit of the Word sustains, supports and strengthens the faith.

THINK LIKE GOD

"Then I will raise up for Myself a faithful priest who shall do according to what is in My heart and in My mind. I will build him a sure house, and we shall walk before My anointed forever."    1 Samuel 2:35
The children of God hear and practice His Word. Therefore, they proceed with dignity in their hearts and their minds are infused with the Father's wisdom.

ATHLETIC SACRIFICE

"And also if anyone competes in athletics, he is not crowned unless he competes according to the rules."    2 Timothy 2:5
Awards are only given to winners. But they must burn through many hours of the day practicing and eating appropriately  They must also abstain from all types of addictions, so that their physical health is not compromised. All this means sacrifice. Sacrifice for what? To win a gold medal and worldwide recognition.
If the momentary glory of this world  requires sacrifice, imagine the eternal glory of salvation? Do you think it will be easier to attain than the glory of this world?

LACK NO OIL

"Let your garments always be white, and let your head lack no Oil."Ecclesiates 9:8
The Holy Spirit is the Oil the Lord Jesus sent to His followers. What else can we say about such care? What words can we use to express the greatness of His presence? How can we explain to the world that He is His Son Jesus' Substitute?
Only those who have an experience with Him can truly value His importance!

DESCENDANTS OF FAITH

"Therefore know that only those who are of the faith are sons of Abraham."    Galatians 3:7
Through Abraham, God showed the world how to practice a faith that is living, objective and brings results. The faith of being obedient or obedience by faith. It is beyond words, it is an act. God doesn't require anything beyond what we are able to offer Him. Everything He asked, Abraham obeyed. This is why He considered him righteous.

A LIVING SACRIFICE

"I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service."      Romans 12:1
Contradicting the inclinations of the heart and turning down what this world has to offer is a daily exercise that true disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ must do. This includes spiritual offerings, living sacrifices to the Lord God. In return, He fulfills the desires of our heart.

GOES BEFORE YOU

"And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed."Deuteronomy 31:8
The closeness of God is for those who fear Him. Those who fear Him, hear and practice His Word. They are assured of His safety, protection and much more than you can ever see or feel.
Nothing happens by chance when you have a commitment with God.

WHO HAS BELIEVED

"Lord, who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?"             John 12:38
You should be humble like a child, and at the same time, strong and courageous to confess your faith. By doing this, God will honor you with His Spirit, so that you can face your enemies and defeat them for His eternal glory.

CONSIDER IT IN YOUR HEART

"Therefore know this day, and consider it in your heart, that the Lord Himself is God in heaven above and on earth beneath; there is no other."    Deuteronomy 4:39
Every day during the Fast of Daniel, the Spirit of God has shown Himself to be Mighty and Powerful to those who wholeheartedly yearn to hear His voice.

SUN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS

"But to you who fear My name the Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings; and you shall go out and grow like stall-fed calves."   Malachi 4:2
Those who are born of God possess a priceless joy. Their separation from the world is reflected in their communion with the Almighty. They sing like birds at daybreak, jump through meadows like animals running freely... It is all for the glory of the Lord of your life.

HARDENED HEART

"Happy is the man who is always reverent, but he who hardens his heart will fall into calamity."Proverbs 28:14
Those who have a humble heart will accept God's thoughts and put them into practice. For that reason, they will find life, peace and assurance. However, those who are arrogant and proud ignore the Word of the Almighty and walk in darkness and without direction.

OH! IF YOU HAD...

"Oh, that you had heeded My commandments! Then your peace would have been like a river, and your righteousness like the waves of the sea."   Isaiah 48:18
Has the Fast of Daniel been difficult? Yes. Well my dear, the more problems you are facing, the better it is for you. It is a sign that you are closer than you think to receiving the Holy Spirit. Remain firm because that day will be here soon.
The Spirit of God is showing you His ardent desire to bring peace into your life, like a river that never gets tired of flowing. And His righteousness or salvation is like the waves in the ocean, blown by the Wind of the Spirit of God.

HOLY DOUBT

"A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks."    Luke 6:45
During the following days, while we are doing the Fast and our thoughts are linked up with heaven, you can be sure that:  The Holy Spirit will give back just as much as you put in. I doubt that He will keep quiet when we are manifesting such faith. And when He speaks, there isn't evil strong enough, problem big enough or worldly illusions convincing enough to stop those who seek Him from hearing His kind, sweet voice!

RIGHTEOUSNESS, PEACE AND JOY

"For the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit."    Romans 14:17
Those who love this world do not believe in the existence of God or in His Kingdom. For that reason, they waste their lives away drinking and eating and sleeping around, just like in the days before the great flood.
On the other hand, those who follow Jesus are pleased to live by the righteousness of faith, enjoying the peace that comes from faith and the joy of the Holy Spirit.

PROMISE OF MY FATHER

"Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city until you are endued with power from on high"    Luke 24:49
Only those who believe will receive this power. Those who believe ask, seek, knock, strive, fight, that is, they are willing to sacrifice all worldly desires. Everyone is entitled to receive blessings. However, the Blessing of all blessings is reserved only for those who make a difference through acts of living faith.

CLUSTER OF GRAPES

"As the new wine is found in the cluster, and one says, 'Do not destroy it, for a blessing is in it,' so will I do for My servants' sake, that I may not destroy them all."Isaiah 65:8
Those who were called by God and for some reason fell away from the faith, but kept a humble heart and righteous character, God keeps them safe.

REPENTANCE

"From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."    Matthew 4:17
Repentance is not a feeling of regret or remorse. It is an act that requires courage and determination, which are key elements for conquering the Kingdom of Heaven.

A BOW OF BRONZE

"He teaches my hands to make war, so that my arms can bend a bow of bronze."    Psalm 18:34
The Spirit of God enables us to win every battle. And whatever our hands touch will have a positive outcome. With Him, victory is guaranteed.

AN IMMEDIATE ANSWER

"Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; nor His ear heavy, that it cannot hear."    Isaiah 59:1
If God's hand is not shortened, what else is lacking for you to get out of that bottomless pit? If His ear is not heavy, what else is lacking for you to be heard?
Try this: Stop putting all your hope in others, find yourself a private place, surrender yourself unconditionally to Him with all of your strength and wait...
The answer will be immediate.

HE KEEPS YOU

"He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber."   Psalm 121:3
God's Divine promises are beautiful, inspiring and wonderful. But if you don't have a serious commitment with their Author, will they be worth anything? This is why we need the Holy Spirit. He gives us the faith to materialize them.
This Sunday, we will begin another purpose of faith - 21 days of the Fast of Daniel. We will cut off all audio-visual contact with the things of this world. Our minds will be connected 24 hours a day with the things of God.

HE WILL GUIDE YOU

"...when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth;"   John 16:13
Accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior and not serving Him or living a righteous life, is the same thing as getting married and continuing to live as though you are single. The Holy Spirit only comes upon those who are fully willing to commit to a marriage with His Son. Only after this happens will you be guided by the Holy Spirit.

LISTEN TO ME AND LOOK...

"Listen to Me, you who follow after righteousness, you who seek the Lord... Look to Abraham your father, and to Sarah who bore you; for I called him alone, and blessed him and increased him."   Isaiah 51:1-2
This message is for those who thirst Justice. That is, those who are more interested in the Lord, rather than His blessings. It is for these people that the Lord uses Abraham and Sarah as references of what He did and continues wanting to do in the life of those who truly love Him.

JUSTICE

"Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ..."   Romans 5:1
Do you want to have peace with God?
This will only happen after your faith is solely in His Son.
Do you want the remission of your sins?
This will only happen  after your faith is solely in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Do you want to be found righteous before God?
This will only happen after your faith is solely in His Son.
Not simply accepting His existence. But possessing the kind of faith that is steadfast and rightly practiced according to the Holy Bible. John 7:38
The kind of faith that destroys the rules and principles of this religious and dark world.
The kind of faith that is willing to sacrifice it's own will in order to obey Him.

THE FATHER AND THE SON

"Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son." 2 John 1:9
Those who choose to ignore the discipline of the Word of God and live according to their own will, do not have God because He does not agree with worldly passions. His Divine character is orderly and disciplined.

PURE FAITH

"...while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal."                2 Corinthians 4:18
The difference in those who are born of the Spirit is in the way they see things. Those who are spiritual see things spiritually, therefore, they look towards what is eternal. However, those who are not spiritual can only see what is temporary.
The Holy Spirit warns us not to pay attention or give importance to what is temporary, but to what is eternal. That is pure faith.
