God's thoughts

"The Lord of hosts has sworn, saying, 'surely, as I have thought, so it shall come to pass, and as I have purposed, so it shall stand." Isaiah 14.24
God's thoughts are positive, determined and objective. I believe that this is the recipe for His people to take possession of the Promises. Those who have the mind of Christ have a firm of purpose, know what they want and where they want to get, Yes, yes, no, no. Nothing undefined ...

Your faith saves you

"But Jesus turned around, and when He saw her He said, 'be of good cheer, daughter; your faith has made you well.' And the woman was made well from that hour." Matthew 9.22

It was not Jesus who healed the woman with the issue of blood, but her faith in Him. Here is the secret of miracles. The assurance that Jesus will do what He promised. "Surely, He took upon Himself our infirmities and carried our sorrows upon Himself..." (Isaiah 53.4).
It works like this: As you read this text and believe that your infirmities have ALREADY BEEN CARRIED IN THE BODY OF JESUS, THEN YOUR FAITH WILL ALSO SAVE YOU!

Holy Cup

"I will take up the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the Lord." Psalm 116.13
The Cup of Salvation is the Lord Jesus Christ. To take it means committing to Him entirely. It's like a serious marriage, where the couple takes responsibility for each other for life. In relation to the Lord Jesus, marriage is for eternity.

If anyone...

"But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His." Romans 8.9

Even before Paul revealed that, Jesus had already said: "... unless one is born again, he cannot SEE the kingdom of God.” John 3:3;
Then he said: "If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered..." John 15.6.
Finally, "And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire." Revelation 20.15.
Do these verses require interpretation?

God is willing

"And behold, a leper came and worshiped Him, saying, 'Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.” Matthew 8.2
Contrary to what suffering religious people and people in general have believed, the LORD God, through His Son Jesus, has shown that the source of fresh water cannot flow bitter water too. The leper thought so, so he said "if you are willing." But God always wants the best for everyone.

Foolish

 “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand:  and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.” Matthew 7.26-27

The problems faced by the prudent are similar to those of a fool. The difference is that the prudent is unshakable, stands firm forever, whereas the fool cannot stand it and collapses. Worse: great is his fall. The ruin goes beyond physical loss, but concerns to the loss of his soul.

Prudent

“Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock." Matthew 7.24-25

Building a house on the rock requires more time, money and overall effort. However, once ready, nor even tsunamis are not able to bring it down.
The same applies to one who builds his life on Jesus. That is, listening and practicing His Word.

The wise

"Whoever comes to Me, and hears My sayings and does them, I will show you whom he is like." Luke 6.47

Wisdom is a virtue that few possess. Not because it is only available to a few people. But because few are willing to pay the price to acquire it.
The teachings of Jesus, when practiced, can materialize the impossible dreams. Those who are wise invest in it and reap a lifetime of distinction from the foolish.

Plant that will be uprooted

"Then His disciples came and said to Him, 'Do You know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this saying?' But He answered and said, 'every plant which My heavenly Father has not planted will be uprooted." Matthew 15.12-13
The religious hypocrites do not heed the Word that comes out of the mouth of God. They rather listen to and follow their family traditions. Thus, how could they be free if the knowledge of the Word is what sets one free? Such people are seen as strange plants in the Garden of God, and sooner or later, they will be removed.

Confidence

"My voice You shall hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning I will direct it to You, and I will look up. For You are not a God who takes pleasure in wickedness, nor shall evil dwell with You." Psalm 5.3-4
How Great You are, O God!
That bends to hear the voice of the most miserable sinner when he pleads honestly. And if He acts like this with the undeserving, imagine those who walk according to Your righteousness.

Afflictions

"Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all." Psalm 34.19

Is it true that the Lord delivers the righteous of ALL AFFLICTIONS?
If you have been righteous in the eyes of God and believe this promise, then you can wait because your deliverance is coming and soon, you will be free.

Tree of life

"In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations." Revelation 22.2
I see the Word of God as the Tree of Life. Its fruits are available only to those who believe in it in fact and in truth. They have the right to eat and feed on its fruits for eternity.

Title of property

"In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise." Ephesians 1.13
Lately, Edir has been talking a lot about the Spirit of Promise. And the verse above goes further, for it speaks of the seal of the Spirit of Promise. This seal is a guarantee of God's fulfillment of His promise. That is, seal is the title of property given by the Lord Jesus.

No weapon shall prosper

"No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me, says the Lord." Isaiah 54.17
This promise is for God's elect. That is, just as we choose Him as Lord of our lives, He also chooses us as His servants. And the difference between those who serve Him and those who don't MUST BE SEEN NOW!

The Spirit of Promise

"In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise."   Ephesians 1.13

The children of sin should not be deceived into thinking that Paul meant that the seal of the Holy Spirit is for everyone.
Instead, the anointing of the Spirit of Promise is for those who converted from the injustice to God's righteousness.
When the children of Israel left Egypt, they had the power of the Spirit in the Promise. But only those who are born of the Spirit carry the power of the Spirit of Promise inside.

You will bring them

"Then He inaugurated Joshua the son of Nun, and said, 'Be strong and of good courage; for you shall bring the children of Israel into the land of which I swore to them, and I will be with you.'" Deuteronomy 31.23

God never asks the impossible. Before giving an order, He gives the person the ability to obey. As He pours out from His Spirit, that person becomes His child, and is enabled to expand His Kingdom in the hearts of those who seek Him.
Exercise your faith seizing all opportunities, for He is with you.

The zeal of God

"For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness." Romans 1.18
In His Infinite Greatness, God makes sure that no injustice go unpunished. His anger is kindled against all forms of injustice that, in other words, are the works of the flesh: "...adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God." Galatians 5.19-21

Justice

“Behold, God is mighty, but despises no one; He is mighty in strength of understanding. He does not preserve the life of the wicked, but gives justice to the oppressed." Job 36.5-6
The character of the Most High is Justice. Because of that, although His mercy is immeasurable and His love infinite, still, He does not clear the guilty.But he listens to the cry of the just and afflicted who call upon Him in sincerity.

God of the New Israel

“It shall come to pass that before they call, I will answer; and while they are still speaking, I will hear." Isaiah 65.24

The promises of God are clear, but subject to conditions. They are like an exchange...
If there is obedience, then, in return, there are blessings; if there is disobedience, then no deal.
In reality, this "exchange" is nothing more than an expression of faith and trust in Him.

I will make the difference

"Therefore thus says the Lord God: 'Behold, My servants shall eat, but you shall be hungry; Behold, My servants shall drink, but you shall be thirsty; Behold, My servants shall rejoice, but you shall be ashamed." Isaiah 65.13
The difference required is not a matter of revenge against those who do not share the same faith, but simply the rights which were acquired by faith in the sacrifice that was made on Calvary. It's just a matter of JUSTICE for those who believe.

The impossible happens

"I will open rivers in desolate heights, and fountains in the midst of the valleys; I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water." Isaiah 41.18
The God of Abraham is the God of the impossible. This is what distinguishes Him from the gods of wood, stone, metal or paper. Therefore, the difference in the quality of life of those who believe in the God of Abraham has to be clear, obvious and indisputable, if compared with the life of those who rely on other gods. It's not even a matter of faith, but of intelligence.

Who wants to drink?

“The poor and needy seek water, but there is none, their tongues fail for thirst. I, the LORD, will hear them; I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them." Isaiah 41.17
The faith that pleases God is the certainty that He will do what He promised and taking action. Unfortunately, most Christians have not seen the manifestation of God's power because they expect to "feel the faith" and only then take action. That is, they want to see in order to believe. So, they cannot take possession of the Biblical promises.
The ancient heroes of faith believedacted out on their belief and then saw the fulfillment of God's Word.

New Israel

“But you, Israel, are My servant, Jacob whom I have chosen,The descendants of Abraham My friend.You whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called from its farthest regions, and said to you,‘You are My servant, I have chosen you and have not cast you away:10  Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’" Isaiah 41.8-10

Only those who are born of the water and of the Spirit realize that such promises relate to them. It is that same Spirit who testifies within them. They are the New Israel raised by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Because of that, come what may, they withstand: they were chosen from the ends of the earth to make a difference in this evil world. There is nothing to fear when we live by faith.

Prophecy

“'Present your case,' says the Lord, 'bring forth your strong reasons', says the King of Jacob." Isaiah 41.21

The God of Abraham invites His people to come before Him and present their requests. It means, the King opens Palace doors to receive those who believe they will be heard; believe that their cause will be judged and justice will be done.
On the 23rd of September, the D-Day - the day of Difference, we will all have an excellent opportunity to see the fulfillment of the following prophecy:
"Then you shall again discern between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not serve Him." Malachi 3.18

Purified faith

"In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ"           1 Peter 1.6-7
Persecution, infamy, injustice, misunderstanding and everything else that we suffer because of our faith in Jesus are part of our trials. They may feel cruel and unjust, but it matures faith for salvation of the soul. Were it not so, surely the Spirit of God would not allow us to go through it.

Rebelliousness vs. Life

"He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.” John 3.36

A marriage only works out when there is surrender of body, soul and spirit. Body mates with body, soul with soul and spirit with spirit.
The belief in God is no different. There must be total surrender of body, soul and spirit. If one of then is lacking, then you lack belief. And if there's no belief, the wrath of God remains.

Clothed with strength

"Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil." Ephesians 6.11

Putting on The armor of God involves the following ATTITUDES:
1 - Gird yourself with Truth, meaning let go of lies;
2 - Dress up in Righteousness, meaning leave sin;
3 - Put on the boots of Peace, meaning get rid of anger;
4 - Embrace the shield of Faith, meaning resist doubts;
5 - Put on the helmet of Salvation, meaning flee from sin;
6 - Occupy your mind with the sword of the Spirit: God's Word, meaning flee from futile reading and vain things;
7 - Stay in prayer and supplication in the Spirit rather than worrying about vanities;
8 - Also, always watch and do not let your faith be distracted.

Your choice

 "See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil." Deuteronomy 30.15
Because of free will given to men, God can not make his choices. This responsibility is purely his. But if he wants to live well and to ensure the salvation of his soul, he must heed the Divine advice and practice it. Otherwise, he will live poorly and ensure eternal damnation.

The mouth of God's servant

"Then the woman said to Elijah, 'Now by this I know that you are a man of God, and that the word of the Lord in your mouth is the truth.'” 1 Kings 17.24
The cry of a desperate mother was answered. Her son was raised from the dead by a word spoken by the prophet. Her immediate reaction was to recognize that the Word of God in the mouth of His servants is true. There you see one more difference between those who serve the Almighty and those who serve Him not.

Faith

"And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus." Philippians 4.19
This is the faith that makes a difference in the lives of those who truly believe. There is an assurance that, sooner or later, the Owner of our beings will supply EACH AND EVERY ONE OF OUR NEEDS, no matter the adversities.
