HEAVY WEIGHT

"Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us..."   Hebrews 12:1
There is only one way to get rid of the weight of sin:  through confession to the Lord Jesus and immediate abandonment of that sin. Sin is a spirit. You will continue to be enslaved by it until you're delivered. Time won't solve this problem. Instead, the more time that passes, the heavier sin becomes, because others sins are added on to it.
Therefore, get rid of it immediately.

CLEARANCE SALE

"Who can find a virtuous wife? For her worth is far above rubies."    Proverbs 31:10
Physical beauty is eye-catching and deceives the heart. But the wise woman's virtues are what makes her a precious rare gem. The man that finds her, will be the happiest man on Earth, because she will truly be a suitable helper. The hard part is finding her, seeing that there is an ongoing "clearance sale" open to the public.

WISE HEART

"The heart of him who has understanding seeks knowledge, but the mouth of fools feeds on foolishness."   Proverbs 15:14
Great knowledge comes from the teachings of the Word of God. It is within these teachings that we acquire a  wise heart, to go up against this world and be victorious until death. However, those who are foolish turn their back to these teachings.

ALL THINGS NEW

"Then He who sat on the throne said, 'Behold, I make all things new.'"    Revelation 21:5
Women who've been raped or suffered any type of abuse have the opportunity to start their life over again. But they must put all of their strength, understanding and their heart into having a communion with the One who is sitting on the Throne. Only He can make all things new.

TRANSFIGURATION

"Lord, it is good for us to be here; if You wish, let us make here three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah."    Matthew 17:4
In the absence of the Holy Spirit there is complete spiritual blindness.  Peter saw Moses and Elijah as though they represented the Law and the Prophets, and now, he had seen Jesus' transfiguration. This had been a sublime and indescribable experience. Yet, he was worried about making tents...
He has revealed to us eternal salvation, the ability to be His children and, if that weren't enough, we've received the Holy Spirit. Yet, how can we allow our thoughts to be occupied by the tents of this world?!...

THE THIRSTY

"For I will pour water on him who is thirsty, and floods on the dry ground; I will pour My Spirit on your descendants, and My blessing on your offspring."     Isaiah 44:3
The wonderful Divine promises are not meant for curious or adventurous people. Nor are they for those who believe in luck or obtaining them without much of an effort. They are meant exclusively for those who are thirsty for God's Spirit. The invitation has been given to everyone. But only the thirsty have the right and privilege of receiving His blessing.

DEFEND

"May the Lord answer you in the day of trouble; may the name of the God of Jacob defend you."    Psalm 20:1
Everybody has problems. All the heroes of faith lived through them. They are what helps us grow and mature spiritually, making our trust in God unshakable. The Lord allows the furnaces to ignite, but He delivers His allies from the fire.

RIGHTEOUS AND UNRIGHTEOUS

"In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother."    1 John 3:10
The difference between the children of God and the children of the devil is in their works. The children of God practice righteousness. In other words, they do not live in sin.
As for the children of the devil, they practice unrighteousness. That is, they live in sin.

LIKE MOUNT ZION

"Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever." Psalm 125:1
Aside from their everyday problems, those whose lives are completely surrendered  on the altar of God firmly trust in His Promises. This trust is ignited when the Holy Spirit confirms His answer in their heart.

ANXIETY IN THE HEART

"Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression, but a good word makes it glad." Proverbs 12:25
An anxious heart chases after the wind. It tires it's owner, who never reaches their goal, causing them to become weak.
But those who trust in God's promises remain steadfast in His Word and are glad.

A GREATER GOOD

"And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from doing them good; but I will put My fear in their hearts so that they will not depart from Me." Jeremiah 32:40
Those who accept and rely solely on God's counsel have the right to a happy and successful life. His promise is very clear and doesn't leave any room for doubtful interpretations: I will not turn away from doing them good... This promise belongs to those who sacrifice in order to keep their everlasting covenant with God.

THE SIN THAT BINDS

"He who covers his sins will not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy." Proverbs 28:13
Although we may hide our sins from everyone around us, we can never hide them from God or from the devil. The success of many Christians has been blocked because their sins have left them in debt with the devil. But when you confess and forsake your sins, Jesus forgives you and opens up the door that leads to prosperity.

PRIDE

"A man's pride will bring him low, but the humble in spirit will retain honor." Proverbs 29:23
Arrogance is the biggest enemy of those who have pride. Sooner or later, it will destroy them. Those who are wise will flee from arrogance, even if that means they must humble themselves.

DISCIPLINE

"Those who disregard discipline despise themselves, but the one who heeds correction gains understanding." Proverbs 15:32
The purpose of discipline is not to humiliate. Although it may be somewhat painful at times, it's for our own good.
In one way or another, everyone gets corrected at some point. This correction may come from God, from other humans or from life itself. But, it will never come from the devil.
Therefore, blessed are the meek who accept discipline, because it is a Divine tool that's necessary for salvation.

RIGHT HAND

"Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand." Isaiah 41:10
It is only possible to live in a violent, unrighteous world and subject yourself to the persecutions of the enemies of the cross if you have the direction, anointing and protection of the Holy Spirit. Only He can maintain the Christian firm in the faith and walking in the path to salvation. It is impossible to remain saved without His presence.

GOD TESTS US

"...for the Lord your God is testing you to know whether you love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul." Deuteronomy 13:3
The Lord knows us better than anyone else. When He tests us, He wants us to get to know ourselves better too. Sacrifice is the best way for us to test our faith in His Word.

THE GREATEST VICTORY

"For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith."1 John 5:4
The Lord Jesus overcame the devil and the world because He was born of the Spirit of God. Being a member of a Christian church, remaining faithful to your vows and attending Sunday service doesn't necessarily mean that you are born of God. What characterizes those who are born of God is their initiative to live apart from sin, which is the greatest victory of those who are truly born of the Spirit.

THE HEIRS' INHERITANCE

"And if the children, then heirs - heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together." Romans 8:17
That is the reward for those who remain firm in the faith until the end. Everything ends... But for the few who practice righteousness, the best part will come at the end. For the many others, who are unrighteous, their end will be sad, painful and worst of all ― eternal.

TAKEN TO THE MOUNTAIN

"Oh, send out Your light and Your truth! Let them lead me; let them bring me to Your holy hill and to Your tabernacle."Psalm 43:3
Only those who are enlightened by the Light of the Gospel find joy in offering their lives on the Altar of God, persevere in practicing His Word and use an intelligent faith.

TRUE CHILDREN OF GOD

"If you were Abraham's children," said Jesus, "then you would do what Abraham did." John 8:39
With that answer, Jesus defined who are truly God's children. God's children do the work of God and the devil's children do the work of the devil. Being righteous, using your Christian faith and being merciful characterize the attitude of a child of God. But the practice of injustice, sin and selfishness characterize the the attitude of the devil's children. The children of the devil obey their own will.

THE LORD'S BLESSING

"Then Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year a hundredfold; and the Lord blessed him." Genesis 26:12
Even though he was sowing on the enemy's land, Issac was sure he was going to have a bountiful harvest because of the promises made to his father. This verse shows us how he not only believed in God, but he also believed in himself. That is the kind of faith that pleases God. Many believe in God, but don't believe in themselves. In this case it's impossible for faith to work.

LIKE GARDENS

"How beautiful are your tents, Jacob, your dwelling places, Israel! Like valleys they spread out, like gardens beside a river, like aloes planted by the Lord, like cedars beside the waters." Numbers 24:5-6
God's plan for His children is more wonderful than you can ever imagine. However, there are rules and disciplines you must follow in order to be in His plans. Faith, righteousness, good character, faithfulness and balance are some of the qualities you'll possess once you're included in this plan.

OUTSTRETCHED HAND

"For the Lord of hosts has purposed, and who will annul it? His hand is stretched out, and who will turn it back?" Isaiah 14:27
The Lord can do everything, even turn around an impossible situation. But, in order for you to take hold of His Promises, you must manifest a living faith. Surely, He will fulfill His Promises.

WITH YOU ALWAYS

"And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." Matthew 28:20
Even when we do not see a cloud guiding us by day or a pillar of fire by night, even when we can't feel His presence and everything seems to be lost.... The Lord Almighty remains faithful to the promises He made our fathers Abraham, Isaac and Israel. And if that weren't enough, He personally said: I am with you always... If that weren't so, one of our many enemies would already have destroyed us.
His love is truly wonderful!

THE SECRET PLACE

"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust." Psalm 91:1-2
The secret place of the Lord is invisible, silent and safe. No one can not see it or feel it, not even it's inhabitants.  The Holy Spirit is the secret place of the Divine for those who obey the Word of His son Jesus Christ.

OFFERING OF RIGHTEOUSNESS

"He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver; He will purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer to the Lord and offering of righteousness." Malachi 3:3
He who teaches how to offer sacrifices to God is teaching an act of faith that pleases God. Sacrifice strengthens the communion between the creation and the Creator. Abel was justified and approved because of the sacrifice he presented to the Lord.

TRUE CONFIDENCE

"Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us." 1 John 5:14
God wants to fulfill His Word in the lives of those who seek Him. But there's something that few people know: The same way we don't give our children everything they ask for, only what they need, God does the same. He knows the future, therefore, because He is infinitely loving, He won't give us something that will eventually harm us. His will is best for us.

THE POWER OF CONFIDENCE

"Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward." Hebrews 10:35
Do not worry whether or not your dreams seem far from becoming real. The important thing is that you remain confident in God's Promises. That kind of faith guarantees achievements. And above all, it keeps your name written in the Book of Life.

COMMAND TO PERSEVERE

"Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth." Revelation 3:10
The Divine command of perseverance refers to continuously remaining in the faith, even in the face of adversity. Willing to suffer persecutions, sorrows, injustices, slander and much more, but remaining loyal. The Lord Jesus Christ promises to keep His faithful followers.
