“Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth…” Ephesians 6.14
The defense of faith requires that one girds
one’s waist with truth. That is, surround oneself with a spiritual chain of
people with the same faith. Avoid, as much as possible, people who don’t follow
the same doctrine of faith. Humanly speaking, it’s impossible to hold on to faith
when you keep company or sits in the seat of the scornful, children of Belial.
Is it difficult? Yes. But whoever desires to
protect his relationship with God and ensure the salvation of his soul must
sacrifice.
