“I have been young, an now am old; yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his descendants begging bread.” Psalm 37:25
Faithfulness to God, to marriage and constancy in faith has
great worth before God. But the character of the righteous goes far beyond
that. He sees as God sees, thinks as God thinks, he does things as God would if
He were in his place, he lives according to God’s will. This is the one who is anointed by the Holy Spirit! This is the righteous David is referring to and who
will never be forsaken!
