Afflictions of the righteous

"Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all." Psalms 34.19

We all suffer afflictions. When the unjust suffers afflictions there is no one to deliver them. Unable to handle the pressure, some end up even killing themselves.
The righteous also suffer afflictions, but with the advantage that the Lord delivers them. For this reason, it pays to be correct, to walk in righteousness and maintain the character of God because, in spite of everything, the Lord is with all who obey Him.

Afflictions

"These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” John 16.33

There's no other way, those who want to follow the Lord Jesus cannot expect flowers in this world. There is no avoiding hardship when trying to practice the Word of God. Escaping the afflictions is like putting the cross aside, satisfying the flesh and not following the Lord Jesus. Is this what you want? 

Afflictions

"Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all." Psalm 34.19

Is it true that the Lord delivers the righteous of ALL AFFLICTIONS?
If you have been righteous in the eyes of God and believe this promise, then you can wait because your deliverance is coming and soon, you will be free.

Affliction

"Consider my affliction and deliver me, for I do not forget Your law." Psalms 119:153

The Spirit of God is attentive to those who are afflicted. But He can only help those who turn to Him.

Be Firm

"...The highway of the upright is to depart from evil; He who keeps his way preserves his soul."

I Peter 5: 10

Affliction leads people to God, and as they drink the fountain of living Waters, they're happy and secure, learning what it takes to keep the faith.

Preserving

"But may the God of all grace, who called us[b] to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you."1 Peter 5: 10

The affliction that takes a person to seek God and drink from the Living Waters, makes her happy, secure, and with the right attitude to keep the faith.

Answer

"The pains of death surrounded me, and the pangs of Sheol laid hold of me; I found trouble and sorrow."

Psalms 116.3


The Name of Jesus is an armour against hell. There's nothing that can resist Him and there's no charge in using it. It's needed when you need freedom from afflictions and sorrows.

Pain

"For He has not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; Nor has He hidden His face from Him; But when He cried to Him, He heard." Psalms 22:24

Our God is Faithful, He's always present to those in need. He only waits for them to call on Him with all their heart, strength, and understanding in order to answer them.
