"And Jacob gave Esau bread and stew of lentils, then he ate and drank, arose and went his way. Thus Esau despised his birthright." Genesis 25:34The birthright signified the anointing and authority of God. Adam despised his anointing and was thrown out of paradise. Esau exchanged it for a bowl of lentil soup, quenched his hunger and unfortunately endured the same fate.
Jesus, God's Firstborn Son, has given us this anointing, but many have exchanged it for an immediate solution to their love life. They prefer to exchange the anointing of eternal salvation for momentary sexual pleasure.
