"In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother." 1 John 3.10Just like light and darkness are different, the children of God are also different from the children of the devil. Jesus was the example of the Son of God and the hypocritical Pharisees were an example of the children of the devil.
To obey the Word of God is to practice His righteousness.
