Repentance

"Repent, or else I will come to you quickly and will fight against them with the sword of My mouth." Revelation 2.16
Contrary to feelings like remorse, repentance has to do with intelligent actions or attitudes of obedience. First, acknowledge your sin, then hate it and, finally, abandon it permanently.

No condemnation

"There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus" Romans 8.1
Though someone's sins may exceed the limits, or as bad as they may be, when they begin to obey the Word of the Lord Jesus Christ they are is no longer  subject to condemnation. This eternal and inexhaustible treasure is reserved only for believers.

If...

"If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you." John 15.7
God is not a magician. His favors and miracles never happen by chance, by luck or merit. Everything depends on Obedience to His Word. Jesus promises everything, but it all depends on the "if". If you abide in Me, and if my words abide in you... Ask what you desire.

Test your faith

“Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?” John 11.40

Do you believe in God? Yes, I believe.
You have faith in God? Yes, I have.
Belief, or faith, in God, means belief, or faith, in His Word.
Do you believe in God's Word? Yes, I do.
Do you obey the Word of God? Hmmm, more or less...
If you obey more or less, then your faith, or your belief, in God is more or less. This is the reason why many who believe in Jesus do not see the glory of God.
Obedience to God's Word shows the kind of faith we have.

Fear in obedience

"And He said, 'Do not lay your hand on the lad, or do anything to him; for now I know that you fear God, since you have not withheld your son, your only son, from Me.'" Genesis 22.12
Abraham's faith had already been tried several times. He passed the tests, but when the sacrifice of his son was required, he got to his limit. His unconditional obedience proved his FEAR to the Lord God. Today, for far less, many are not able to demonstrate the least bit of FEAR IN OBEDIENCE to God's Word.

Obedience and fear

"And He said, 'Do not lay your hand on the lad, or do anything to him; for now I know that you fear God, since you have not withheld your son, your only son, from Me.'" Genesis 22.12
The LORD God tested Abraham's obedience. His response showed his fear. In other words, obedience is undeniable proof of faith and fear of God.
Whoever believes in God fears and obeys His Word; but whoever does not believe does not fear Him and therefore disobeys His Word.

Determination

"The Lord of hosts has sworn, saying, 'surely, as I have thought, so it shall come to pass, and as I have purposed, so it shall stand.'" Isaiah 14.24
This thought teaches a secret to those who are loyal, obedient to the voice of faith: the determination in thought.
Yes, all those who are sealed with the Holy Spirit are able to think and determine what they want to happen.

Obedience

"By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called..." Hebrews 11.8
The entire Bible is summed up in a single message: obedience. Abraham was the greatest example of this. His relationship and friendship with God were marked by his obedience. Faith is obedience.

Death was overcome

“O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?" 1 Corinthians 15.55
To those who are obedient to the Word of the Lord Jesus, death has lost its power. Rather, it is profit to those who live by faith. However, for the religious and unbelieving, it continues to terrorize them since the original sin. Even worse, filling the depths of hell.

God of the New Israel

“It shall come to pass that before they call, I will answer; and while they are still speaking, I will hear." Isaiah 65.24

The promises of God are clear, but subject to conditions. They are like an exchange...
If there is obedience, then, in return, there are blessings; if there is disobedience, then no deal.
In reality, this "exchange" is nothing more than an expression of faith and trust in Him.

Sacrifices

“Has the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, As in obeying the voice of the LORDBehold, to obey is better than sacrifice, And to heed than the fat of rams." 1 Samuel 15.22

The offering of material goods without obedience to God's Word does not work. What good would it be if a prostitute, for example, offers one month worth of her gain but keeps selling her body? Would the Lord God accept such an offering?

The offering is something spontaneous from the soul that expresses sincere love. But the sacrifice involves total surrender of body, soul and spirit. It sacrifices body and soul. There is no reservation on the sacrifice. Saul sacrificed the body of an animal, but did not sacrifice his will in order to do God's will.

THE DIFFERENCE IS IN THE SMALL DETAILS

"Honor the Lord with your possessions, and with the firstfruits of all your increase; so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine."      Proverbs 3.9-10
What calls the attention of the Creator is the obedience of His children. The firsfruits of all your increases are the firstfruits of your harvest.
The firstfruits are no different than the last.
But, for the Lord God they are. They are more import than all the rest of the harvest.
The firstfruits represent faithfulness, consideration, respect, priority and, above all, faith.

IT SHALL BE WELL

"Blessed is every one who fears the Lord, who walks in His ways. When you eat the labor of your hands, you shall be happy, and it shall be well with you."     Psalm 128.1-2
Fear and obedience of His Word are the secret to happiness.
Fear of God is respect, consideration, zeal, reverence and devotion to the Almighty, Eternal and Sovereign Lord God.
This behavior, summed to the practice of His Word, inevitably equals His consideration towards the faithful.

THE PRICE OF OBEDIENCE

"...though He was a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He suffered. And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him..."    Hebrews 5.8-9
Learning obedience has a high price.
If the Son of God, who was an obedient servant, had to pay the price by suffering, then imagine what we must suffer as well.
Denying the will of the flesh to obey the voice of the Holy Spirit hurts. But this is the price of obtaining eternal salvation of the soul.

THE PRICE OF FAITH

"By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called..."      Hebrew 11.8
Obedience. Faith gives us the right to justice. And, once justified, we have the right to receive the presence of God and eternal salvation. However, once the gates of heaven are open for us, we must obey the Word of God.
Without the sacrifice of obeying, your faith will not work.

ALWAYS

"Let your garments always be white and let your head lack no oil."
    Ecclesiastes 9.8

It is difficult to live in a world that is so entangled in sin and yet maintain your garments white. However, it is not impossible. The secret behind maintaining yourself pure in an impure world is fearing the Lord and obeying His voice. The more sinful you are, the more effective God's power is.
The Almighty never asks for something that is impossible to do.

DESCENDANTS OF FAITH

"Therefore know that only those who are of the faith are sons of Abraham."    Galatians 3:7
Through Abraham, God showed the world how to practice a faith that is living, objective and brings results. The faith of being obedient or obedience by faith. It is beyond words, it is an act. God doesn't require anything beyond what we are able to offer Him. Everything He asked, Abraham obeyed. This is why He considered him righteous.

Whose Servant?

"Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one’s slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness?" Romans 6:16

There are two masters in this world: of life and of death. The life of each individual reflects the Lord they serve.
The devil gives his servants a life of suffering and pain. The Lord Jesus however, gives His servants a life of abundance.
Therefore, the quality of one's life depends on the lord he serves.

Obedience

"And we are His witnesses to these things, and so also is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him." Acts 5.32

Obedience is one of the conditions to receive the Holy Spirit. The rebellious, despite having the faith to achieve material blessings, are left out.
Ananias and Sapphira didn’t receive the Spirit of God because they were in between devotion to God and money.
Many have sought the Seal of God but not wholeheartedly.

Personal Property

"Now therefore, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine." Exodus 19.5

God never expects the impossible because He knows our limitations. To hear His Voice and practice it is a question of obedience. Therefore, we become His Personal Property.
