"But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him." John 4.23
God the Father seeks true worshipers. But how to distinguish between the true and the false worshipers? The true worshipers will worship God - the Father - in spirit and in truth. In spirit means to worship with an intelligent and balanced faith.
God is intelligence and wisdom, so why would He accept an emotion based worship?
In truth means to worship Him through His Son Jesus, The Truth.
"Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all." Psalm 34.19
Is it true that the Lord delivers the righteous of ALL AFFLICTIONS?
If you have been righteous in the eyes of God and believe this promise, then you can wait because your deliverance is coming and soon, you will be free.
"And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown." I Corinthians 9.25
Competitive athletes undergo strict training, dieting and exemplary discipline. They make real sacrifices hunting for medals and the glory of this world. Even so, in time, their glory and accomplishments are forgotten.
The same does not happen to the true glory, which is reserved to the loyal and faithful to the Lord of Eternal Glory.
"Your watchmen shall lift up their voices, with their voices they shall sing together; for they shall see eye to eye when the Lord brings back Zion." Isaiah 52.8
True servants of God give it their all to spread the word of the coming of the Lord. His return is imminent.
Anyone who is interested in going up with Him must be ready because the signs of His coming leave no doubt of His return.
"The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever; the rules of the Lord are true, and righteous altogether." Psalm 19:9The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge (wisdom). It is the reverence for His Word - and as long as we are listening and practicing it - it becomes clear and transparent in our lives; branding us as children of God, with His character, that everyone around us will be able to see.Those who fight for spiritual survival are overcomers everyday and thus attain eternal life. God's standards are both true and fair.
