“And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity. The tongue is so set among our members that it defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire by hell.” James 3.6
To play with the tongue is to play with fire.
The good or evil that it speaks actually happens. You need to have the mind of
the Lord Jesus not to speak foolish and poisonous things. The power of the
tongue is so great that the Holy Spirit teaches us that if anyone wants to love their
life and see happy days, they must control their tongue not to speak evil
things, especially of people.
