"Now it came to pass, when David was dwelling in his house, that David said to Nathan the prophet, 'see now, I dwell in a house of cedar, but the ark of the covenant of the Lord is under tent curtains.'” 1 Chronicles 17.1David committed sins that were not erased. Violent and unjustifiable sins. He and his people reaped its fruits. However, even in the face of such outrage, his heart remained according to God's heart. The above verse proves that, for in his concern with the building of the House of the Lord, he considered his faith and covenant to the God of his forefathers.

Cry aloud, spare not!
“As for Me, says the Lord, this is My covenant with them: My Spirit who is upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth, shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your descendants, nor from the mouth of your descendants’ descendants, says the Lord, from this time and forevermore.” Isaiah 59.21How wonderful is it to be assured that the Lord keeps His covenant with us. To know that His Spirit is in us, His Word is in our mouths and that all this is extended to our generations forever. I bring this word upon my life and also transfer it to you, the followers of this blog. Be blessed by this word!

Covenant
“And I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you in their generations, for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and your descendants after you." Genesis 17.4Covenant, pact, marriage or accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior involves mutual commitment between creature and Creator. It is all about sacrifice from both parties. Jesus sacrificed and is still sacrificing as He endures our imperfections. From our part, the sacrifice is to surrender our will to do His. This agreement allows Him to be our Lord and God for all eternity.

Stay
"Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me." John 15.4
Stay with Me and I'll stay with you. Don't stay with Me and I won't stay with you. Our covenant depends exclusively on you.

Rainbow
The rainbow shall be in the cloud, and I will look on it to remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on the earth.” Genesis 9.16
The rainbow is one of the signs of God's covenant with us human beings. Those who accept this covenant have the right to Divine Promises.

Personal Property
"Now therefore, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine." Exodus 19.5
God never expects the impossible because He knows our limitations. To hear His Voice and practice it is a question of obedience. Therefore, we become His Personal Property.

Mercy
"'For the mountains shall depart and the hills be removed, but My kindness shall not depart from you, nor shall My covenant of peace be removed' Says the LORD, who has mercy on you."Isaiah 54:10
The Earth may be shaken by catastrophes and tragedies, nevertheless, the merciful Eyes of the Lord are constant towards His chosen ones.

Covenant of Peace
"I'm promising now no more anger, no more dressing you down. For even if the mountains walk away and the hills fall to pieces, my love won't walk away from you, my covenant commitment of peace won't fall apart." Isaiah 54:10
Problems may fall upon us big time, but as we find God's mercy, we're filled with peace.
