Revelation

"Who has believed our report?"
                          Isaiah 53:1

Whoever believes is in faith. It is a revelation from God Himself. Those who throw themselves into faith will enjoy all of His promises.

The Word

"As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is flawless. He is a shield for all who take refuge in him." 2 Samuel 22:31

God is perfect. He planned the Way of perfection by sending His Son. Through this, He brought salvation to all those who believe; that they may know His justice and prove His love and mercy. It also gives them the right to enjoy His rich promises, when they take refuge in Him.

Sacrifice

God was the first to sacrifice. He sacrificed an animal to clothe Adam and Eve and with this, He showed us the way to a beneficial faith. Just as love demands attitudes of sacrifice, so does faith. In the past, no hero of faith conquered anything without the use of faith with sacrifice. Abel is one of the greatest examples of this; he was considered righteous before the Most High just because of his sacrifice.
Jesus taught us sacrifice when He said:
"If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me." Matthew 16:24

Listen

...Jesus took Peter, James, and John, and led them up a high mountain to be alone.
Then a cloud overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my dearly loved Son. Listen to him." Mark 9:2-7

The disciples had to climb the Mount of Transfiguration to learn how to listen to God's Voice.

Mountain

"In the LORD I take refuge. How can you say to my soul: Flee as a bird to your mountain?" Psalm 11:1

The climb to Mount Sinai has begun. We all have at least one request for the God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel. By faith, we will ascend the Holy Mountain; the Mountain where God transformed millions of slaves into a free and powerful nation. Sacrifice is the shortest distance between wanting and realising your dream. The one who believes goes and conquers his dream.

Doing The Best

Although he was still a youth, David already had a heart after the God of His forefathers. As a shepherd, he did his best to care for his father's flock. For this reason, God saw that he could take care of His people and chose him to be the King of Israel. Because he was faithful in the little, he was placed upon much.

Today, God is still looking for people whose hearts follow after Him, to honour them, just as He honoured David.

"He who is faithful in a very little thing is faithful also in much..." Luke 16:10

Afflictions

"Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivers him out of all."

Psalm 34:19

This verse shows us that we are continually at war, one after the other. These fights are necessary to keep our faith active but Divine providence is guaranteed. As big as they may seem, our God promises to deliver us.

Confidence

"Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence before God." 1 John 3:21

When a child disobeys or does something wrong, his parents quickly realise because of his nervousness - he can't even look them in the eyes. In the same way, when a person has a dirty conscience, he doesn't have the confidence to ask anything from God; his faith is timid. However, those who have a pure heart have full confidence.

Poverty

"They are being tested by many troubles, and they are very poor. But they are also filled with abundant joy, which has overflowed in rich generosity."

Neither the rich nor the poor can escape the problems of everyday life. However, those who reach the revelation of the Gospel in the midst of their suffering, know the meaning of true joy. This is what makes them eager to help the afflicted and so rich in kindness and generosity.

Who?

"Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?" Romans 8:35

These are the difficulties faced by everyone, regardless of whether they are Christian or not. It is these difficulties that define whether you are born of God or not. Those who are will pass the test and remain. Those who are not will fall away. For those who are of God, NOTHING AND NO ONE CAN SEPARATE THEM FROM THE LOVE OF THE LORD JESUS.

The Throne

"He who overcomes, I will grant to him to sit down with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne." Revelation 3:21

In this world, winning an Oscar (or even just sitting in the seat of a Hollywood theatre), is of great value and only for those who have done well at playing others.

However, for us, the followers of the Lord Jesus, there is an invitation to sit beside the King of Kings; a position that holds much honour and cannot be compared to anything this world has to offer. The only entry fee required is to be faithful, just and to abstain all from evil; this is what it is to be an overcomer.

Overcomer

"He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he will not go out from it anymore; and I will write on him the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God, and My new name."
                               Revelation 3:12

How wonderful! This is the future of the saved. He will be considered an overcomer; taken to the New Jerusalem where he will remain and given a new name, chosen by the Lord Jesus.

Simple

"The LORD preserves the simple; I was brought low, and he helped me." Psalm 116:6

On the days that faith wavers and the burden of difficulties increase, doubts and fear are quick to appear, to aggravate the situation. But it is written: "The Lord preserves the simple..." And right now, the Eternal has His eyes fixed on you, to protect and restore you.

Beautiful Dresses

"She is clothed with strength and dignity and she laughs without fear of the future." Proverbs 31:25

Women want to be 'in fashion' and to be recognised for their great taste in clothes; that is why they invest in and aspire to be elegant. However, the most attractive and valuable garment is made up of the virtues of faith, as these give strength and hope for the future. This is what makes her dignified and honoured by all.

It Is Done

"The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold." Psalm 18:2

1 - The Lord is my Rock and my fortress,
                The Word of God
2 - My deliverer; my God, my rock in whom I take refuge;
                The Holy Spirit
3 - My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
               The Name of Jesus

The Word, the Spirit and the Name. Is it necessary for someone to come to Earth to do what is already clear, true and accomplished?

Strength or Faith

"If you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small." Proverbs 24:10

At a certain time, amid the waves of the Sea of Galilee, there was a storm and the disciples started shouting for help. Then Jesus said to them: "Oh ye of little faith!"

If they had used their intelligent faith they would have said between themselves: "He is sleeping in our boat. If we perish, He will also perish." Therefore, not even for a moment, should we doubt, lose heart, murmur, be afraid or be driven to despair. If the Lord God is inside of us, in the Person of the Holy Spirit, then why doubt during these storms?

Power

"Here I will increase the power of David; my anointed one will be a light for my people. I will clothe his enemies with shame, but he will be a glorious king." Psalm 132:17-18

When we surrender ourselves on the altar of God, the light of the Holy Spirit shows us salvation. In this shelter of the soul there is tranquillity and security and because of this, those who rise up against us will be confused.

Help

God has already provided salvation and a life of quality.
He has demonstrated His tender care and His pleasure to show Himself strong for those who believe in Him. However, in order to receive both, you must have control over your heart. Consequently, during difficult times, He will also be in control of the situation.

"For He has not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; nor has He hidden His face from him; but when he cried to Him for help, He heard." Psalm 22:24

Joy

I want to thank everyone for my Mother's Day greetings.
Many have regarded me as a mother and for this I am very happy.
I will continue teaching them God's promises because that is my pleasure.
Thanks for your care and all the comments posted here.
All honour must be given to the Holy Spirit because it is He Who truly awakened the faith and comforted those who desired to hear Him.

"With joy you will draw from the wells of salvation." Isaiah 12:3

The Heart of God

The shame, humiliation and suffering of being barren led Hannah to make a vow with the Lord: And she vowed a vow and said: "O Lord of hosts, if you will indeed look on the affliction of your servant and remember me and not forget your servant, but will give to your servant a son, then I will give him to the Lord all the days of his life, and no razor shall touch his head." 1 Samuel 1:11

A child was her biggest dream for so long and although she had to lose him for Divine purposes, she wanted to get rid of her longing pain. God saw, heard and answered her cry. Samuel was born and brought as a newborn to serve in the Temple. Such an attitude of faith taught her the way to conquer with God. Samuel became one of the greatest Prophets in Israel and Hannah, she had other sons.

The wise woman honours and is honoured by God.

Refuge

"May the Lord reward your work and your wages be full from the Lord, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to seek refuge." Ruth 2:12

For her kindness to her mother-in-law, Ruth (who was also a widow), received a Divine blessing. Her reward was another marriage - which was even more happier than her first - and her honour was extraordinary! She became the grandmother of the great King David.

All this because she clung to her mother-in-law, and above all, to her God. The God of Israel.

Covered

"He will cover you with His feathers and under His wings you will find refuge. His truth is your shield and armour." Psalm 91:4

It is very interesting to see how birds protect their young: they put them on their feet and cover them with their wings; in this way they not only protect them from predators but also from the cold.

The Psalmist compares this special care of birds, with that of God the Father towards His children. Whoever has the privilege of being a child of God, can be certain of the glorious care of the Eternal Father.

Safe

"In peace I will lay down and sleep, for you alone O Lord, will keep me safe."

This is one of the exercises of faith: to sleep in peace.
The total confidence in the heavenly bank account.

Security

"You will be secure, because there is hope; you will look about you and take your rest in safety."
                                                                       Job 11:18

The fullness of faith involves hope. Problems serve as an opportunity for God to show Himself strong in the lives of those who wait on and trust in Him. Those who don't do this suffer with insomnia, fear and nervousness; however, those who are in faith lay down and rest.

Strong Tower

"The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe." Proverbs 18:10

Man understands very well how to build a tower. Thousands of years ago, he already knew how to structure it in such a way that he could take refuge in it.

This comparison of the strong tower is a practical example that helps us understand how safe and strong the Name of our Lord Jesus is.

To Believe

"Now may God, the source of hope, fill you with all joy and peace as you believe, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."
                                                                              Romans 15:13

When we open our hearts to God's voice, we receive faith; it is like an element of Him, or a tiny ray of His light within us. This is what we call Divine Hope. It is accompanied by peace and joy; a treasure built by the power of the Holy Spirit, in those who surrender and allow themselves to be guided by Him.

Work

"But Jesus answered them: My Father works til now and I work." John 5:17

The whole world can rest on Labour Day.
However, spiritually, we can't afford to waste time, as the devil works to destroy lives tirelessly. We have to be in the fight of faith; watching and praying always.

There is always action at the Throne of God and we are His watchmen.

The Contentious Woman

"It is better to live in a corner of a roof than in a house shared with a contentious woman." Proverbs 21:9

The choice of living far apart has only been better when one has to share a house with a grumpy woman who creates confusion. Having peace in this kind of house is impossible.

Virtuous

"A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband: but she that makes ashamed is as rottenness in his bones." Proverbs 12:4

A virtuous woman possesses at least three qualities: faith, hope and love. These qualities are seen by everyone and this makes her husband proud of her. However, a foolish woman is like a jewel in the snout of a pig and she is her husband's shame.

Wise

"The wise woman builds her house, but with her own hands the foolish one tears hers down." Proverbs 14:1

The one who has the power to create children also has the power to build her family. It is a glorious task for a wise woman.

Despite his strength, the man does not give birth to children; neither does he have the ability to create them. Only the woman has this power. However, it is the wise woman that creates and builds. The foolish one creates but destroys. For this reason, when a man seeks and finds this wise woman, he has found the favour of God.

Neighbour

A person with a heart full of love and the desire to evangelise on the street and at work must do so freely. The work of faith must also be moved by faith; this is the example the Lord Jesus left for us.

I think this is a beautiful work and I would love to go out every Saturday and Sunday with those who spread the Good News and give their testimony.

However, for those of you who have no time (because of work or household duties), there are other ways of being used. Intercession for the lost through prayer and fasting, faithfulness in tithes and offerings and the purchasing of evangelistic materials such as church newspapers, magazines and books (so that they can be available for those who go out to evangelise) are a few ways.

"You shall love your neighbour as yourself." Matthew 22:39
