RIGHTEOUSNESS

"... not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith..."     Philippians 3.9
The righteousness of Paul did not come from his behavior before God. He was justified because he maintain his faith alive, practical and active in the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. That is why he was known as the apostle of the gentiles.

WAR

"Though an army may encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war may rise against me, in this I will be confident."      Psalm 27.3
David was a man of war and conquests because He trusted in his parent's God. He knew that God would never leave him alone. Confident is the key word in this verse. This is the kind of faith that pleases the Lord.
