PURE SINCERITY

"...let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water."Hebrews 10.22 NASB
You can be covered in sins, but your sincerity along with faith can open the door to the Throne of the Almighty.
It will not be automatic. You must come before Him, to then ask, be heard and answered.

UNDERSTANDING THE PLAN

"The Lord your God will make you abound in all the work of your hand, in the fruit of your body, in the increase of your livestock, and in the produce of your land for good... if you obey the voice of the Lord your God, to keep His commandments and His statutes which are written in this Book of the Law, and if you turn to the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul."Deuteronomy 30.9-10
All Divine promises depend on listening to the Voice of God.
The Voice of God is the voice of rational faith. This kind of faith comes from the obedience and practice of His Word.
This is the requirement for the fulfillment of His promises.

BLESSED INHERITANCE

"The God of my father was my help and delivered me from the sword of Pharaoh."Exodus 18.4
Abraham was obedient and faithful to the Lord.
His son, Isaac inherited the same quality of faith. And when he found himself before Pharaoh, he called out to his father's God and was delivered.
When they are wise, parents follow the same example. They give priority to the Christian faith of the Bible to educate their children. This will guarantee protection and success.

WEIGHED IN THE BALANCES

"You have been weighed in the balances and found wanting"
Daniel 5.27
Where else would God weigh man's will and intentions, if not in the heart?
Because it is constantly being tested, it is necessary to keep watch over it at all times.
Watch and pray so that you do not fall into temptation.

MANY BELIEVERS, VERY FEW CHRISTIANS

Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.       John 3.3-5
Only those who are born again can SEE the Kingdom of the Spirit of God.
Only those who are born of water and the Spirit can ENTER the Kingdom of the Spirit of God.
This is why many are believers; however, very few are Christians.

He knows the heart

"Then hear from heaven Your dwelling place, and forgive, and give to everyone according to all his ways, whose heart You know, for You alone know the hearts of the sons of men." 2 Chronicles 6.30
The Lord knows the hearts' of men. He knows it is corrupt and deceitful by nature. However,  He shows mercy to those who are humble enough to confess and abandon their mistakes and sins.

ACTIONS ARE WEIGHED

"Talk no more so very proudly, let no arrogance come from your mouth, for the Lord is the God of knowledge and by Him actions are weighed."1 Samuel 2.3
Our intentions, thoughts and words are weighed and determine our character before God.
Nothing, absolutely nothing, remains hidden from Him.
Haughty eyes, proud hearts and all other kinds of sins will not go unpunished.
Depart from evil and do good, and dwell forevermore. Psalm 37.27

THEY WILL SEE GOD

"And you shall be holy to Me, for I the Lord am holy, and have separated you from the peoples, that you should be Mine."           Leviticus 20.26
In order for us to see the Lord we must be holy.
Holy means separated from unrighteousness and separated from sin.
How could the Holy of holies allow sin into His presence? Can Light and darkness be combined? How about Good and evil?
Those who want to see the Lord God must sacrifice their sins in order to come clean before His presence.

THE WILL OF THE FATHER

"Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven."     Matthew 7.21
You must be a servant in order to do the will of the Lord.
What good will it do to serve Him halfheartedly?
What good will it do to try to please Him by being half a servant?
Imagine what would happen in a marriage if a husband only gave half of himself to his wife and a wife only gave half of herself to her husband?
Who would accept to live in this situation?
Jesus is only the Lord of those who submit their live's entirely to Him.

BELIEVERS, BUT NOT CHRISTIANS

"For My people are foolish, they have not known Me. They are silly children and they have no understanding. They are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge."Jeremiah 4.22
The pain suffered by God the Father because of the rebellious children of Israel in the past, is the same pain suffered by God the Son with the rebellious believers of the present.
Most believers call themselves Christians because it's convenient. They consider Jesus their Savior, but not their Lord. They rather obey their heart, instead of the Word of God. They are wise, clever and stubborn when it comes to evil, but not for what is good.

The hand of God

"Behold, the LORD's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save, nor His ear heavy, that it cannot hear." Isaiah 59.1
Are you lost? Confused? Can't find a way out? What are the problems you're facing? Here, you will find the answers from God. His hand is not shortened, and He can still hear.
What must I do?
Go into your room, close the door, kneel and with your face to the ground, humble yourself before God and speak to Him. Honestly let Him know about everything you're going through and, like Jesus said, your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.

MOUNT ZION

"Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever."     Psalm 125.1
Trust is a permanent state of faith. Being like Mount Zion means remaining unshakable under any circumstance. Even if all the Earth trembles and the other mountains shake, Mount Zion remains calm and peaceful because it is the Throne of the Almighty.
Who and what can possibly hold back or shake up those who are the Temple of the Holy Spirit.

STEAL, KILL AND DESTROY

"The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly."          John 10.10
Followers of the Lord Jesus chose to follow Him. This means that they will no longer be subject to the kingdom of darkness. Though they have trials and battles, they keep their faith because they are guaranteed to have their life restored with inner peace and joy, and the salvation of their soul.
On the other hand, those who reject their salvation have nothing left but theft, death and destruction.

CORRUPT WORDS

"Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers."
     Ephesians 4.29
When your life is transformed, your words are for edification and to bless others. They would never be used to plant hatred or discord. Those who are born of the Spirit are Spirit, speak like the Spirit and act like the Spirit of God.

NOR GIVE PLACE

"... nor give place to the devil."                                                         Ephesians 4.27
This advice from God may sound strange. However, during the time of Paul, some disciples were already giving place to the devil by allowing sorrow and grief into their hearts.

ANGER

"Be angry, and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your wrath, nor give place to the devil."       Ephesians 6.26-27
The world we live in does not allow us to be perfect. There are moments where we get angry. However, we cannot allow this anger to turn into grief. Before the sun goes down that anger must give way to repentance and forgiveness.
By doing this, the devil will not find any gaps to enter into your life.

HEAR

"Thus says the Lord God:’ He who hears, let him hear; and he who refuses, let him refuse; for they are a rebellious house'."         Ezekiel 3.27
The Holy Bible can be summed up in two words: listen and obey. Those who have spiritual ears listen and obey. Not only do they listen, but they also obey.
Those who disobey are rebellious just like Lucifer was and will suffer the consequences of their rebelliousness.

REBELLIOUS FAITH

"Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ..."     Romans 5.1
Faith gives us peace with God. We obey the Word of God by faith. The kind of faith that does not give you peace with God is rebellious faith.
If your faith does not bring you inner peace, your soul is in danger of losing its salvation.

NOW

"Moses My servant is dead. Now therefore, arise, go over this Jordan, you and all this people, to the land which I am giving to them—the children of Israel."Joshua 1.2
Joshua was greatly affected by the death of Moses. This is when the Lord uplifted him by saying: Moses is dead. Until when will you keep mourning? Arise, NOW, and take hold of the promised land.
To live by faith is to leave the burdens of the past behind and move forward.
Forget the past, look ahead and firmly continue in the direction of achieving your goal.

ONE THING I DO

"...but one thing I do: forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus."      Philippians 3.13-14
Paul was wise. He made sure to put the past behind him, in order to move forward towards the future. Intelligent faith requires us to do the same. On the other hand, emotional faith insists on remembering the past to counteract the faith of the Spirit of God.
Anyone who wants to obtain eternal salvation must forget about their past.

BEAUTY IS PASSING

"Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, but a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised."      Proverbs 31.30
Being beautiful and valued by her husband, children and friends is what the woman of this world wants the most.
However, the woman of the Kingdom of God lives to serve her Lord.  Her goal is not to receive honor, but to honor Him with her life.

THE DIFFERENCE

"Then you shall again discern between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not serve Him."     Malachi 3.18
As promised, the difference between those who serve God must be visible, perceptible and real. These are the signs of His existence and glory in the contemporary world we live in.
However, the realization of such things is subject to sacrifice and unconditional surrender.

RETURN

"If you return to the Almighty, you will be built up; you will remove iniquity far from your tents. Then you will lay your gold in the dust and the gold of Ophir among stones of the brooks. Yes, the Almighty will be your gold and your precious silver."       Job 22.23-25
The kind of faith that pleases the Almighty and produces benefits is displeasing to the heart because it goes against it's will. On the other hand, it attracts the Glory of the Almighty to you.
Who is willing to pay the price?

WHO IS WHO

"Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God."        James 4.4
This verse clearly defines who is who. The friends of God are enemies of the world and the friends of the world are enemies of God.
The enemies of God automatically become friends of the devil. The friends of God automatically become enemies of the devil.

THE WISE MAN

"Give instruction to a wise man and he will be still wiser. Teach a just man and he will increase in learning."    Proverbs 9.9
A wise man thinks. A wise man is humble.
He is wise because he has invested his reason in wisdom. And above all, into God's divine wisdom.
He is humble because he listens to, learns and practices the Word of God.

BITTER

"Even today my complaint is bitter, my hand is listless because of my groaning."   Job 23.2
The righteous are men of revolt. When injustice reaches it's limit, he takes action and calls out to the Righteous Judge because he is certain that He will answer. His faith is violent when it comes to taking possession of what is rightfully his.

RULE OVER IT

"...sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it."Genesis 4.7
God has given us the faith to overcome, and above all to rule over the spirit of sin that lies at the door. Sin is a spirit. Those who are wise and prudent will always be careful not to submit to it.

GOOD CONSCIENCE

"...having faith and a good conscience, which some have rejected, concerning the faith have suffered shipwreck."     1 Timothy 1.19
The shipwreck of faith has been a recurring fact. What we come across the most is people that have fallen away from the faith. In the days of the early church, things were the same as today. Can't the shipwrecks of the past serve as an example to prevent shipwrecks today? Sin is the reason for the shipwrecks. They cause a guilty conscience and that neutralizes faith. As a result, people fall and sometimes, to the point where it's impossible to get back up.

HE BRINGS JUSTICE

"He does not preserve the life of the wicked, but gives justice to the oppressed."     Job 36.6
Because of His righteousness, God can't stand spiritual and moral corruption. However, His righteousness favors those who need help, those who call out to Him with sincerity and intelligent Faith.

THE DIFFERENCE

"In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother."     1 John 3.10
Just like light and darkness are different, the children of God are also different from the children of the devil. Jesus was the example of the Son of God and the hypocritical Pharisees were an example of the children of the devil.
To obey the Word of God is to practice His righteousness.
