"He answered and said to them, 'When it is evening you say, it will be fair weather, for the sky is red; and in the morning, 'It will be foul weather today, for the sky is red and threatening.’ Hypocrites! You know how to discern the face of the sky, but you cannot discern the signs of the times." Matthew 16.2-3People can tell whether or not the weather will be good from the appearance of the sky, but they are not able to discern the signs of the coming of the Lord Jesus by the social situation in the world. Famine, war, terrorism, violence, drugs, destruction of homes, lack of love, children who kill their parents because of drugs, parents who rape children, prostitution, social injustice, political corruption, moral corruption, spiritual corruption, pests that spread, satanic religions, unprecedented immorality... Only someone who does not reason cannot see the whirlwind of events that point to the end of times.

First love
"Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love." Revelation 2.4
The church in Ephesus was supposed to be a reference of the Lord Jesus on Earth: with good works and perseverance, they had been proven and approved by the Lord and everything else. But their passion for souls had faded and in its place came another ...
However, the compassion of the Lord gives us a new chance to get back to what we were before. It's just a matter of wanting it and taking action.

The way to salvation
"If disaster comes upon us—sword, judgment, pestilence, or famine—we will stand before this temple and in Your presence (for Your name is in this temple), and cry out to You in our affliction, and You will hear and save." 2 Chronicles 20.9
The Temple of the Lord is the Church where the name in evidence is that of the Lord Jesus Christ. It is the place where we will all cry out in one faith, one spirit and one heart, and He will hear us and deliver us. It happened to Jehoshaphat and his entire kingdom, including their wives and children.
And the answer came immediately, saying: the battle is not yours but of the Lord your God.

Abound in hope
"Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." Romans 15.13Our hope is that one day our tears, fears, sorrows, worries and all sorts of trouble that we have suffered in this world will be transformed into joy, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. So let us stand firm in this faith until the day of our departure to be with our Lord Jesus Christ.

The name of the Lord Jesus Christ
"Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." Philippians 2.9-11The name of Jesus is not like any other name. It carries within itself all authority over all that exists in heaven, on earth and all the universe. That is, over all His creation and everything turns against it. No evil subsists or can stand against the Name of the Lord of Glory. Therefore, pronouncing this name frivolously is taking the name of the Lord God in vain.

Rest on the Altar
"And seeing the multitudes, He went up on a mountain, and when He was seated His disciples came to Him. Then He opened His mouth and taught them..." Matthew 5.1-2The Lord Jesus used to take time to be alone with the Father when He went up the mountains, which can also be understood as the 'Altar'. And even in those precious moments, He did not refrain from doing the work He came to do. As soon as the disciples would approach Him, He began to teach them. This is the life of those who live on the Altar - even in times of rest and reflection, they serve those who need them.

No condemnation
"There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus" Romans 8.1Though someone's sins may exceed the limits, or as bad as they may be, when they begin to obey the Word of the Lord Jesus Christ they are is no longer subject to condemnation. This eternal and inexhaustible treasure is reserved only for believers.

Death was overcome
“O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?" 1 Corinthians 15.55To those who are obedient to the Word of the Lord Jesus, death has lost its power. Rather, it is profit to those who live by faith. However, for the religious and unbelieving, it continues to terrorize them since the original sin. Even worse, filling the depths of hell.

Infirmities
"Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted." Isaiah 53.4Those who know the Bible knows that the Lord Jesus has already taken all of our infirmities and diseases. However, few are those who know how to take possession of this right. To accept it and take it without any fear or concern for medical examinations is a matter of faith that has nothing to do with the senses.

Dominion of sin
"For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace." Romans 6.14Behind sin there is always a spirit. In fact, sin is an evil spirit. Tho who live in faith in the Lord Jesus are not hostage to the spirit of sin. But those who live a farce of faith, then yes, they become slaves to sin. They are the ones who usually say: I can not overcome my desires, my flesh, my sins ...

Stone or flesh
"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh." Ezekiel 36.26This promise relates to the days after the ascension of the Lord Jesus Christ. But why not everybody receives the Holy Spirit? Because not everyone has been dedicating themselves body, soul and spirit to receive it. Not all give up sin. Then, it really is hard to receive new heart and spirit.

THE INVITATION
"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." Matthew 11.28
The Lord Jesus would not have made such an invitation if he was not interested in meeting the needs of the afflicted.
However, you must understand that He will not take any initiatives unless His invitation is accepted.
Those who are interested must seek Him, take a step in His direction and put all their existent faith in Him.
That's it.
