COME UPON YOU

"And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you because you obey the voice of the Lord your God."    Deuteronomy 28.2
Those who are obedient do not worry about when their dreams will come true. Their mind is simply focused on being obedient. This is because the Word of God promises that blessings will come upon them and overtake them.
This means that those who are obedient do not run around chasing their dreams, their dreams chase after them.

HUNGER AND THIRST

"Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled."     Matthew 5.6
The righteousness mentioned above has nothing to do with our rights. It goes much further than that, it has to do with a life according to everything that is pure, just, true and holy.

God is Righteousness. Because of that He hates sin. Hunger and thirst for righteousness is the daily bread of those who truly want to honor the Lord.

GAIN THE WORLD

"For what will it profit a man if gains the whole world and loses his own soul?"Mark 8.36
Winning the lottery along with other people is difficult. Winning the lottery by yourself is even more difficult. Now, winning the world, humanly speaking, is impossible. But even if it were possible, what good would it be when you would only enjoy it for about 100 years?

Jesus suggests we gain eternal salvation.

Who is willing to pay the price?

Who is willing to sacrifice their sad, poor little world for the salvation of their soul for all of eternity?

THE PRICE OF FAITH

"By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called..."      Hebrew 11.8
Obedience. Faith gives us the right to justice. And, once justified, we have the right to receive the presence of God and eternal salvation. However, once the gates of heaven are open for us, we must obey the Word of God.
Without the sacrifice of obeying, your faith will not work.

FORGIVEN

"Who shall bring a charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies."     Romans 8.33
When there is a sincere repentance, there will be true forgiveness. And when this happens, not even the devil, your conscience or anybody else has the right to continue accusing you.
If the Holy Spirit has forgiven you, who can accuse you?

LUKEWARM

"So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth."      Revelation 3.16
When a Christian is filled with the Holy Spirit, sacrifices and lives by faith, he is hot.
On the other hand, an unbeliever would be considered cold.
Although being cold is bad, it's still better than being lukewarm in the faith. This type of person is undefined about what he wants. Like the waves of the ocean, he does not know what he wants.

RIGHTEOUSNESS BY FAITH

"For what does the Scripture say? 'Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness'."       Romans 4.3
Abraham proved his faith to God by obeying His Word and because of that he was justified by God
In other words, Abraham was a sinner like anyone else, but his obedience made him worthy before God.
Therefore, those who are obedient to the Word of God are forgiven, those who are disobedient are condemned.

OUR DAILY BREAD

"Lord, who may abide in Your tabernacle? Who may dwell in Your holy hill? He who walks uprightly, and works righteously, and speaks the truth in his heart..."      Psalm 15.1-2
The word RIGHTEOUSNESS is written 371 times in the Bible. RIGHTEOUSNESS is the foundation of the Almighty's Throne. What does this have to do with mankind? No one that lives unrighteously can contemplate the face of God. This is why the Holy Spirit confirms that the wages of sin is death.

RIGHTEOUSNESS

"For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven."     Matthew 5.20
The Kingdom of Heaven is purely righteous. Once there, you will have no memories of what is unrighteous. In order to enter, you must be righteous.
But how can we be righteous when we are merely human and sinners? Abraham's faith, along with his obedience to the Word of God, made him a righteous man.
Therefore, you must use your faith in obedience to the Word.

WHO IS AND WHO ISN'T?

"Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His."Romans 8.9
Who is saved? Who belongs to the Lord Jesus Christ? This verse leaves us without a shadow of a doubt. The good thing about these questions is that the Holy Spirit has already answered it deep inside those who are His, when He says: The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God. Romans 8.16
If you still have doubts, seek Him immediately.

RICHES

"...if riches increase, do not set your heart on them."      Psalm 62.10
In all of His teachings, Jesus always addresses the future. THE ETERNAL FUTURE OF THE SOUL. These teachings are meant to protect our faith so that we may achieve the salvation of our soul.
Regardless of the riches you may possess, whether they have to do with your family, love life or material successes, they do not compare to the salvation of the soul. Therefore, the wise do not get attached to anything that is of this world.

WHEN THE HEIR IS A CHILD

"Now I say that the heir, as long as he is a child, does not differ at all from a slave, though he is master of all, but is under guardians and stewards until the time appointed by the father."     Galatians 4.1-2
Who in their right mind would give a child a motorcycle, if he can't even ride a tricycle yet? Spiritually speaking, many children insist with God the Father to take possession of things that can only be given to adults.
It is a fact that when an heir is still a minor, he must wait for the right time, which is determined by the Father, to take possession of everything.
In the meantime, he must remain patient.
The Holy Spirit gives patience.

NEW MAN

"Then the Spirit of the Lord will come upon you and you will prophesy with them an be turned into another man."       1 Samuel 10.6
The main reason for the baptism with the Holy Spirit is to transform the person into a new man. A man that is according to the character of God, the thoughts of God, the attitude of God and overall, that he is made in the image of God, which was one day lost by Adam and Eve.
Any other reason for wanting to receive the baptism with the Holy Spirit is a waste of time.

HE IS NOT HIS

"But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His."       Romans 8.9
Being in the flesh is to occupy your thoughts with the things of this world.
Being in Spirit is to live and think about the things of a High and Holy place. Your thoughts are linked to the Word of God. This is where you receive the power to overcome doubt, fear and resist ideas that are not righteous, pure and healthy.

ANGER

"Then the Spirit of God came upon Saul when he heard this news and his anger was greatly aroused."      1 Samuel 11.6
Revolt against everything that is rotten, dirty, wrong and sinful has been the daily bread of those who have the Spirit of God.
It happened at the time of the first king of Israel.
Driven by the Spirit of God, his anger was greatly aroused against the siege of the enemy.
It is impossible for a person that is sealed with the Holy Spirit to enjoy watching others suffer any type of injustice or sin. It contradicts their spiritual nature, faith and dignity.

TRIUMPHANT

"In that hour Jesus rejoiced in the Spirit and said, 'I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and revealed them to babes. Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight."       Luke 10.21
The Holy Spirit, the Eternal Glory, is only revealed to the little ones, who have a humble heart. Those who consider themselves wise, knowledgeable and arrogant do not have access to Him.
Anyone who wants to receive Him must sacrifice their pride, humble themselves and become like a child.

WICKEDNESS

"But Jesus perceived their wickedness and said, 'Why do you test Me, you hypocrites?'    Matthew 22.18
The hypocrite's heart is a wellspring of wickedness. They carry within themselves the right tools to destroy the simple faith of the pure and sincere of heart.
If they tested the Son of God, why won't they test His followers?
So, what should you do? Run away from them.

THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD

"The Spirit of the Lord will come powerfully upon you and you will prophesy with them and you will be changed into a different person."     1 Samuel 10.6
When you surrender unconditionally,  the Spirit of the Lord will come upon you and transform you into a new person. Traumas, complexes, bad tempers, addictions and everything else that isn't according to God is removed.
This is when a new person is born. From this moment on, you will begin achieving great things in love and materially.
But, first the Spirit of God must come upon you.

JOY

"Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength."          Nehemiah 8.10
Just like their child's success brings a parent joy, the joy of the Lord is our strength. Therefore, don't let your everyday problems neutralize God's joy. Be strong and courageous because He is with you.

WHAT IS MORE IMPORTANT?

"Therefore we must give the more earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest we drift away."     Hebrews 2.1
What could possibly be more important than our eternal life?
Because they do not understand this, the blind and foolish have turned their back on the Divine truth and clung to the vanities of this world.
But the wise invest all of their life and all of their strength to achieve eternal life.

SIN WILLFULLY

"For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgement and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries."         Hebrews 10.26-27
Some people live in sin because they are dominated by a spirit. But when the bible refers to those who sin willfully, it is referring to those who deliberately consent to live in sin. They were free at some point, but because of their own will, they turned back to sin. And for them, there is no longer hope for salvation.

A DIVIDED HEART

"But Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them: Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation and every city or house divided against itself will not stand."       Matthew 12.25
When your choices are well-defined it reveals the kind of person you are. If you are unable to define your position with the little things, how will you define your position when it comes to what is eternal?
This is why we have faith, but only a few are able to use it. Many have faith to sing, praise, pray and even attend church services but they don't have faith to take certain actions that will change their lives.

LIKE A WAVE OF THE SEA

"But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind."    James 1.6
Just like a ray of light breaks through the darkness, faith does the same with doubts. But that does not mean that doubt will give up. Persevering in believing what is written in the Word of God is the only way to get rid of your doubts.

PRUDENT

"The simple believes every word, but the prudent considers his steps."    Proverbs 14.15
People who do not use reason accept the standards of this world and are influenced by the media, the fashion industry and their worldly friends. On the other hand, the children of God listen to and consider His Word, which straightens and gives direction to all the areas of their life.

GOODNESS AND SEVERITY

"Therefore consider the goodness and severity of God: on those who fell, severity; but towards you, goodness, if you continue in His goodness. Otherwise you also will be cut off."         Romans 11.22
Modern Christians consider God's love, kindness and mercy. But they forget about His justice and severity.
However, if He did not spare the fallen angels, or mankind during the time of Noah, or the inhabitants of Sodom and Gomorrah, do you think that He has changed and will spare those who have fallen and didn't repent.

WAR

"Though an army may encamp against me, my heart shall not fear. Though war may rise against me, in this I will be confident."       Psalm 27.3
The number of enemies you have and their power for destruction does not matter because those who live by faith and trust in the Lord have His full protection.

REMISSION

"And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood and without shedding of blood there is no remission."      Hebrews 9.22
During the times of the Old Testament, almost everything was purified through the sacrifice of blood. However, in the New Testament, the sacrifice of animals was canceled. But the sacrifice of faith was not and it requires action.
Without sacrifice there is no remission, no salvation and no achievements.
Whoever wants to be forgiven, must forgive (sacrifice). Whoever wants to receive, must give (sacrifice). Whoever wants to reap, must sow (sacrifice).
Therefore, it is impossible to take possession of God's promises without an act of sacrificial faith.

THE BEGINNING OF KNOWLEDGE

"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction."        Proverbs 1:7
Do you want to avoid making mistakes. Do you want peace? Do you want direction in all aspects of your life? Do you want to be happy? Then put this into practice:
Don't walk in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stand in the path of sinners, nor sit in the seat of the scornful. Instead, take pleasure in reading the Word of God and meditate about it day and night.
Follow these steps and you will be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaves do not whither and whatever he does is successful.
