Romans 8:5-6Those who seek to fulfill the desires of the flesh (soul) will reap pain and suffering, until they are finished off by death.
" 'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,' and '(love) your neighbor as yourself'." Luke 10:27If the love God is asking us for had anything to do with the emotions of the heart, it would be impossible to love Him. Because how could you feel love for the Unknown?

"Then I will raise up for Myself a faithful priest who shall do according to what is in My heart and in My mind. I will build him a sure house, and we shall walk before My anointed forever." 1 Samuel 2:35The children of God hear and practice His Word. Therefore, they proceed with dignity in their hearts and their minds are infused with the Father's wisdom.
"And also if anyone competes in athletics, he is not crowned unless he competes according to the rules." 2 Timothy 2:5Awards are only given to winners. But they must burn through many hours of the day practicing and eating appropriately They must also abstain from all types of addictions, so that their physical health is not compromised. All this means sacrifice. Sacrifice for what? To win a gold medal and worldwide recognition.

"Therefore know that only those who are of the faith are sons of Abraham." Galatians 3:7Through Abraham, God showed the world how to practice a faith that is living, objective and brings results. The faith of being obedient or obedience by faith. It is beyond words, it is an act. God doesn't require anything beyond what we are able to offer Him. Everything He asked, Abraham obeyed. This is why He considered him righteous.
"I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service." Romans 12:1Contradicting the inclinations of the heart and turning down what this world has to offer is a daily exercise that true disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ must do. This includes spiritual offerings, living sacrifices to the Lord God. In return, He fulfills the desires of our heart.

He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed."Deuteronomy 31:8The closeness of God is for those who fear Him. Those who fear Him, hear and practice His Word. They are assured of His safety, protection and much more than you can ever see or feel.
"Lord, who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?" John 12:38You should be humble like a child, and at the same time, strong and courageous to confess your faith. By doing this, God will honor you with His Spirit, so that you can face your enemies and defeat them for His eternal glory.
"Therefore know this day, and consider it in your heart, that the Lord Himself is God in heaven above and on earth beneath; there is no other." Deuteronomy 4:39Every day during the Fast of Daniel, the Spirit of God has shown Himself to be Mighty and Powerful to those who wholeheartedly yearn to hear His voice.
"But to you who fear My name the Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings; and you shall go out and grow like stall-fed calves." Malachi 4:2Those who are born of God possess a priceless joy. Their separation from the world is reflected in their communion with the Almighty. They sing like birds at daybreak, jump through meadows like animals running freely... It is all for the glory of the Lord of your life.
"Happy is the man who is always reverent, but he who hardens his heart will fall into calamity."Proverbs 28:14Those who have a humble heart will accept God's thoughts and put them into practice. For that reason, they will find life, peace and assurance. However, those who are arrogant and proud ignore the Word of the Almighty and walk in darkness and without direction.
"Oh, that you had heeded My commandments! Then your peace would have been like a river, and your righteousness like the waves of the sea." Isaiah 48:18Has the Fast of Daniel been difficult? Yes. Well my dear, the more problems you are facing, the better it is for you. It is a sign that you are closer than you think to receiving the Holy Spirit. Remain firm because that day will be here soon.
"A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks." Luke 6:45During the following days, while we are doing the Fast and our thoughts are linked up with heaven, you can be sure that: The Holy Spirit will give back just as much as you put in. I doubt that He will keep quiet when we are manifesting such faith. And when He speaks, there isn't evil strong enough, problem big enough or worldly illusions convincing enough to stop those who seek Him from hearing His kind, sweet voice!
"For the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit." Romans 14:17Those who love this world do not believe in the existence of God or in His Kingdom. For that reason, they waste their lives away drinking and eating and sleeping around, just like in the days before the great flood.
"Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city until you are endued with power from on high" Luke 24:49Only those who believe will receive this power. Those who believe ask, seek, knock, strive, fight, that is, they are willing to sacrifice all worldly desires. Everyone is entitled to receive blessings. However, the Blessing of all blessings is reserved only for those who make a difference through acts of living faith.
"As the new wine is found in the cluster, and one says, 'Do not destroy it, for a blessing is in it,' so will I do for My servants' sake, that I may not destroy them all."Isaiah 65:8Those who were called by God and for some reason fell away from the faith, but kept a humble heart and righteous character, God keeps them safe.
"From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." Matthew 4:17Repentance is not a feeling of regret or remorse. It is an act that requires courage and determination, which are key elements for conquering the Kingdom of Heaven.
"He teaches my hands to make war, so that my arms can bend a bow of bronze." Psalm 18:34The Spirit of God enables us to win every battle. And whatever our hands touch will have a positive outcome. With Him, victory is guaranteed.
"Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; nor His ear heavy, that it cannot hear." Isaiah 59:1If God's hand is not shortened, what else is lacking for you to get out of that bottomless pit? If His ear is not heavy, what else is lacking for you to be heard?
"He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber." Psalm 121:3God's Divine promises are beautiful, inspiring and wonderful. But if you don't have a serious commitment with their Author, will they be worth anything? This is why we need the Holy Spirit. He gives us the faith to materialize them.
"...when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth;" John 16:13Accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior and not serving Him or living a righteous life, is the same thing as getting married and continuing to live as though you are single. The Holy Spirit only comes upon those who are fully willing to commit to a marriage with His Son. Only after this happens will you be guided by the Holy Spirit.
"Listen to Me, you who follow after righteousness, you who seek the Lord... Look to Abraham your father, and to Sarah who bore you; for I called him alone, and blessed him and increased him." Isaiah 51:1-2This message is for those who thirst Justice. That is, those who are more interested in the Lord, rather than His blessings. It is for these people that the Lord uses Abraham and Sarah as references of what He did and continues wanting to do in the life of those who truly love Him.
"Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ..." Romans 5:1Do you want to have peace with God?

He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son." 2 John 1:9Those who choose to ignore the discipline of the Word of God and live according to their own will, do not have God because He does not agree with worldly passions. His Divine character is orderly and disciplined.
"...while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:18The difference in those who are born of the Spirit is in the way they see things. Those who are spiritual see things spiritually, therefore, they look towards what is eternal. However, those who are not spiritual can only see what is temporary.
