Blood brings you closer

"But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ." 

Ephesians 2.13

Blood is the only element that brings the human being closer to God. He who does not have the willingness to sacrifice his life by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ does not have what it takes to conquer it towards an eternity with Him.

Light and blood

"But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin." 1 John 1:7

To walk in the light is to walk according to the Christian discipline. And so we have unity among ourselves and the blood of the Lord Jesus purifies everyone of their sins.

Life for the Blood

"Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you." John 6:53

When you participate of the Lord's Supper, you're celebrating the convenant with the Lord Jesus Christ. You also remember His sacrifice so that you won't forget to keep doing yours.

Grace before God

" Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need." Hebrews 4:16

He who seeks and perseveres in the ways of the Spirit of God, receives the strength to fight and overcome in tribulation times.

Sharper

"For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." Hebrews 4:12

Those who come before God with their entire heart give His Spirit freedom to work His Promises in his whole life.

Earnest Heed

"Therefore we must give the more earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest we drift away." Hebrews 2:1

Nothing and noone can be more important than the councils from the Word of God.

Faith and trust

"For thus says the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel: “ In returning and rest you shall be saved; In quietness and confidence shall be your strength.” Isaiah 30.15

Trust is not a feeling. The strength of your arms is only a mere temporary emotion. But the power of the assurance produces peace and tranquility.
