"And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed."Deuteronomy 31:8
The closeness of God is for those who fear Him. Those who fear Him, hear and practice His Word. They are assured of His safety, protection and much more than you can ever see or feel.
Nothing happens by chance when you have a commitment with God.
"Lord, who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?" John 12:38
You should be humble like a child, and at the same time, strong and courageous to confess your faith. By doing this, God will honor you with His Spirit, so that you can face your enemies and defeat them for His eternal glory.
"Therefore know this day, and consider it in your heart, that the Lord Himself is God in heaven above and on earth beneath; there is no other." Deuteronomy 4:39
Every day during the Fast of Daniel, the Spirit of God has shown Himself to be Mighty and Powerful to those who wholeheartedly yearn to hear His voice.
"But to you who fear My name the Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings; and you shall go out and grow like stall-fed calves." Malachi 4:2
Those who are born of God possess a priceless joy. Their separation from the world is reflected in their communion with the Almighty. They sing like birds at daybreak, jump through meadows like animals running freely... It is all for the glory of the Lord of your life.
"Happy is the man who is always reverent, but he who hardens his heart will fall into calamity."Proverbs 28:14
Those who have a humble heart will accept God's thoughts and put them into practice. For that reason, they will find life, peace and assurance. However, those who are arrogant and proud ignore the Word of the Almighty and walk in darkness and without direction.
"Oh, that you had heeded My commandments! Then your peace would have been like a river, and your righteousness like the waves of the sea." Isaiah 48:18
Has the Fast of Daniel been difficult? Yes. Well my dear, the more problems you are facing, the better it is for you. It is a sign that you are closer than you think to receiving the Holy Spirit. Remain firm because that day will be here soon.
The Spirit of God is showing you His ardent desire to bring peace into your life, like a river that never gets tired of flowing. And His righteousness or salvation is like the waves in the ocean, blown by the Wind of the Spirit of God.
"A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks." Luke 6:45
During the following days, while we are doing the Fast and our thoughts are linked up with heaven, you can be sure that: The Holy Spirit will give back just as much as you put in. I doubt that He will keep quiet when we are manifesting such faith. And when He speaks, there isn't evil strong enough, problem big enough or worldly illusions convincing enough to stop those who seek Him from hearing His kind, sweet voice!
