"Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His."Romans 8.9
Who is saved? Who belongs to the Lord Jesus Christ? This verse leaves us without a shadow of a doubt. The good thing about these questions is that the Holy Spirit has already answered it deep inside those who are His, when He says: The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God. Romans 8.16
If you still have doubts, seek Him immediately.
"...if riches increase, do not set your heart on them." Psalm 62.10
In all of His teachings, Jesus always addresses the future. THE ETERNAL FUTURE OF THE SOUL. These teachings are meant to protect our faith so that we may achieve the salvation of our soul.
Regardless of the riches you may possess, whether they have to do with your family, love life or material successes, they do not compare to the salvation of the soul. Therefore, the wise do not get attached to anything that is of this world.
"Now I say that the heir, as long as he is a child, does not differ at all from a slave, though he is master of all, but is under guardians and stewards until the time appointed by the father." Galatians 4.1-2
Who in their right mind would give a child a motorcycle, if he can't even ride a tricycle yet? Spiritually speaking, many children insist with God the Father to take possession of things that can only be given to adults.
It is a fact that when an heir is still a minor, he must wait for the right time, which is determined by the Father, to take possession of everything.
In the meantime, he must remain patient.
The Holy Spirit gives patience.
"Then the Spirit of the Lord will come upon you and you will prophesy with them an be turned into another man." 1 Samuel 10.6
The main reason for the baptism with the Holy Spirit is to transform the person into a new man. A man that is according to the character of God, the thoughts of God, the attitude of God and overall, that he is made in the image of God, which was one day lost by Adam and Eve.
Any other reason for wanting to receive the baptism with the Holy Spirit is a waste of time.
"But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His." Romans 8.9
Being in the flesh is to occupy your thoughts with the things of this world.
Being in Spirit is to live and think about the things of a High and Holy place. Your thoughts are linked to the Word of God. This is where you receive the power to overcome doubt, fear and resist ideas that are not righteous, pure and healthy.
"Then the Spirit of God came upon Saul when he heard this news and his anger was greatly aroused." 1 Samuel 11.6
Revolt against everything that is rotten, dirty, wrong and sinful has been the daily bread of those who have the Spirit of God.
It happened at the time of the first king of Israel.
Driven by the Spirit of God, his anger was greatly aroused against the siege of the enemy.
It is impossible for a person that is sealed with the Holy Spirit to enjoy watching others suffer any type of injustice or sin. It contradicts their spiritual nature, faith and dignity.
"In that hour Jesus rejoiced in the Spirit and said, 'I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and revealed them to babes. Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight." Luke 10.21
The Holy Spirit, the Eternal Glory, is only revealed to the little ones, who have a humble heart. Those who consider themselves wise, knowledgeable and arrogant do not have access to Him.
Anyone who wants to receive Him must sacrifice their pride, humble themselves and become like a child.
