TEST

"The LORD tests the righteous and the wicked, And the one who loves violence His soul hates." Psalm 11:5

God examines the heart of both, righteous and wicked. And those who do not have the holy fear and take pleasure in wrongdoing cannot enter His Kingdom.

FRUIT

"A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire." Matthew 7:18-19

Those who belong to God are like the trees planted by the rivers. They give shadow to the weary and refreshes the soul of the afflicted with the counsel of God's Law. They clothed in justice. But those who fail to live this way are cut off and thrown in the fire.

Sowing and Reaping

"For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life." Galatians 6:8

Those who listen to their hearts will only reap corruption and deceit, but those who listen to reason and strive to get to know and please God will inherit eternal life.

Man of War

"But God said to me, 'You shall not build a house for My name because you are a man of war and have shed blood.'" 1 Chronicles 28:3

David was known as a "man of war" because he lived by faith. Those who live by faith are in constant war against the powers of darkness. Solomon was wise and full of knowledge, but he could never be considered as a man of war - or a man of faith.

Moment of Despair

"There are many who say, “Who will show us some good? Lift up the light of your face upon us, O LORD!” Psalm 4:6

There are many crying out in affliction in this world. But the Lord only reveals Himself to the sincere of heart. Somehow, they end up getting to know the Everlasting of Israel.

Keep Forever

"O LORD, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, our fathers, keep forever such purposes and thoughts in the hearts of your people, and direct their hearts toward you." 1 Chronicles 29:18

To keep the word of God is to live it every day, filling yourself with disposition and courage in the practice of faith. That is how you learn to really live by faith.

Latter Works

“I know your works, your love and faith and service and patient endurance, and that your latter works exceed the first." Revelations 2:19

With spiritual growth, faith in action and perseverance in the strength of the Holy Spirit, we will be able to carry out great works so that His name might be known all over the world.
