Fear

"For all those things has my hand made, and all those things have been, said the Lord: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembles at my word." Isaiah 66:2

In this world many go through pain, suffering and injustice; their spirit is downcast, humiliated and broken and they are sinking to the bottom of the pit. The sorrowful life that they lead causes them to look up and shout for help. It is then that they see God's tender gaze and His Hands outstretched, ready to rescue them.

Then, after showing them His love and pulling them out of their agony, He only requires one thing from them: to keep His Word and His Discipline. If they refuse to abide by this obedience then God will no longer protect their lives.

  2. yes mrs. ester,

it's true that when God stretched His hand in time of our need, He really expects us to take hold of it forever not once, but we should make all efforts to grip His hand, or else it's our down fall again.

we should be very thankful to God for everything He is doing in ourlives, coz' He is not hurting us but Saving us.
