Jesus' Prayer

"Now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep through Your name those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We are..."
John 17:11

When the devil looks at those who are born of God and see the sign of the blood of Jesus, he trembles. He fears and trembles because there it is the Holy Trinity together with His Children.

Obey

"Has the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed than the fat of rams." 1 Samuel 15:22

The servants of God has taught us to sacrifice our lives and our means. But we've also learned that most importantly, we must obey God's Word. Let's give ears to the men of God, they've been God's speakers.

All be one

"...that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.."

John 17:21

Just like the Trinity is ONE, so are God's children. Those who are in Christ Jesus live in unity of faith for they have the same Spirit and the same thoughts.

Loads

"Blessed be the Lord, who daily loads us with benefits, the God of our salvation!" Psalms 68:19

We have no idea of how much God has saved us. Maybe one day, we'll know...

Refuge

"The LORD is their strength, and He is the saving refuge of His anointed." Psalms 28:8

Those who are in the Rock live safely, not even death reaches them! The Lord has been His people's Fortress.

Pain

"For He has not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; Nor has He hidden His face from Him; But when He cried to Him, He heard." Psalms 22:24

Our God is Faithful, He's always present to those in need. He only waits for them to call on Him with all their heart, strength, and understanding in order to answer them.

Edification

"We then who are strong ought to bear with the scruples of the weak, and not to please ourselves. Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, leading to edification." Romans 15: 1,2

Those who are born of God are led by the Spirit. And so they understand the suffering and weaknesses of others. In patience, they teach them how to fight and overcome by faith.

Instructed

"But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you." John 14:26

Once we're filled with the Holy Spirit, we're instructed and encouraged to practice His Word. As a result, we're persecuted and hated by those who are not His.

Have Spirit

"But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His." Romans 8:9

When passions of the flesh are abandoned, doors are opened for the Holy Spirit to bear a new creature in you. Once you're born of God, you have His DNA -- that's when you begin to think and behave like Him.

Inclination

"For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit." Romans 8:5

Even upon fulfilling daily obligations, one shouldn't despise the Word of God, the Fountain of Life. Just like the body needs food, the spirit needs the Word that comes from the mouth of God.

Wise Spirit

"And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the Spirit by which he spoke." Acts 6:10 

Those who are filled with the Spirit of God speak in power and authority. There is no evil that can resist them when they're in the faith -- that's how those who are chosen by God overcome.

Power

"But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” Acts 1:8

This POWER is not only to get benefits from God's marvelous Works, but to proclaim His will of salvation, healing, and deliverance to the whole world.

World

"They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world." John 17:16

To be a Christian is to belong to the Kingdom of God and deny the kingdom of this world. You can't belong to both kingdoms simunteounesly, just like you can't serve two lords.

Brothers & Sisters

"Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!" Psalms 133:1

The unity of faith depends in the unity of the Spirit of God. If there's no unity among brothers and sisters, it's because they don't have the same Spirit. In this case, it's better to avoid such kind of 'brothers and sisters'.

Soul

"The highway of the upright is to depart from evil; He who keeps his way preserves his soul." Proverbs 16:17

Those who walk by faith avoid the paths of doubts. Those who walk in the good way will never meet evil. Instead, they have the presence of the Holy Spirit as guarantee.

Corrupt

"The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; Who can know it?" Jeremiah 17:9

If there's no new birth, there's no solution for the corrupt and deceitful heart -- it'll lead you to eternal death. Even for those of the Christian faith.

The Gift

"Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." Acts 2:38 

Every action results in reaction. Repentance is not a feeling, but an attitude of abandoning sin. Then comes forgiveness from God and the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Witnesses

"And when the Holy Spirit comes on you, you will be able to be my witnesses in Jerusalem, all over Judea and Samaria, even to the ends of the world." Acts 1: 8

When we're filled with the Holy Spirit, we have the right to use the Name of the Lord Jesus to conquer what's impossible, turning us into real witnesses of Him in this Earth.

Even more blessed

"Jesus said, "So, you believe because you've seen with your own eyes. Even better blessings are in store for those who believe without seeing."John 20:29

No one who was benefited from the physical ministry of the Lord Jesus, not even the disciples and apostles, were as blessed as those who have never heard or seen Him. This helps us endure all problems, persecutions, anguish, injustices, moreover, the hell that we face down here. Thank God!

Satisfied

"I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst." John 6:35

If only those who suffer from depression, insomnia, fear, and nervousness would eat from this Bread and drink from this Water...

They'd be new creatures and would know what it's like to be filled with the Spirit of the Lord Jesus.

More precious

"Neither gold nor crystal can equal it, nor can it be exchanged for jewelry of fine gold. No mention shall be made of coral or quartz, for the price of wisdom is above rubies." Job 28:17,18

The fear of God Job had led him to acquire wisdom. Even when he was tested by the fire, he never blasphemed against God. For this reason, He was able to have his family and wealth back in double.

Much knowledge is nothing without wisdom. The atomic bomb inventor had much knowledge, but lacked wisdom.

Seek

"The LORD looks down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there are any who understand, who seek God." Psalms 14:2

God knows those who seek Him, those who truly desire to have an intimate marvellous relationship with Him. And He knows the hypocrites very well too, those who only desire to show off but their hearts are far from His purposes.

Hated

"I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world." John 17:14

The Word of God transformed us into new creatures, fulfilled in happiness and goodness. For this reason, those who are still in their old nature, who don't know the One responsible for our changes, hate us.

The root

"A man is not established by wickedness, but the root of the righteous cannot be moved." Proverbs 12:3

The human being looks for ways to feel secure, to the point of even doing what's wrong. But those who live by faith, have the Lord as their eternal Rock. They will always be secure and no one will ever touch them.

Uncalled

"In the multitude of words sin is not lacking, But he who restrains his lips is wise." Proverbs 10:19

When one speaks too much, one end up speaking of what is uncalled for. That's why it's better to listen. God gave us two ears and one mouth. What does that really mean?

Desires

"The nightmares of the wicked come true; what the good people desire, they get." Proverbs 10:24

When there's total trust in God, He satisfies the desires of our hearts.

Impossible

"No chance at all if you think you can pull it off by yourself. Every chance in the world if you let God do it." Mark 10:27

There are moments in anyone's life, that it doesn't matter how capable they are, they're inevitably clueless. That's when they need to appeal to God, the only One who can deal with the impossible.

Sowing

"Don't be misled: No one makes a fool of God. What a person plants, he will harvest. The person who plants selfishness, ignoring the needs of others—ignoring God!—harvests a crop of weeds. All he'll have to show for his life is weeds! But the one who plants in response to God, letting God's Spirit do the growth work in him, harvests a crop of real life, eternal life." Galatians 6:7-8

To sow for your flesh is to prioritise vanities and worldly things. And so you reap what the world usually reaps - suffering. To sow for your Spirit is to prioritise the will of God and choose eternal life.

Realisation

"For it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure." Philippians 2:13

When our will is God's will, we have the ultimate sign of His divine in us. Then, the realisation of God's will is just a matter of time.

Faith in Action

"Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and said, 'Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it.'" Numbers 13:30 

The promises have already been determined. The faith has already been given. Now it's time to have the courage take possession of them and use them. Let's go up and take hold of our rights.

Good

"Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith." Galatians 6:10

In the next elections, let us choose those who are on the side of the people of God.
