"For the LORD has called you like a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, like a youthful wife when you were refused' says your God."
Isaiah 54:6
God has used the torments of life to awaken those who are suffering. When you're crushed spiritually, His Voice is more present and His Ears more audible. If your soul is crying in pain now, take this opportunity and say: yes Lord, I want your help!
Yea, like the bible says God is close to those who have a broken and contrite heart!
ReplyDeleteIt's when we are most down that God is closer to us than ever before; even though we don't see Him or feel Him in that moment He is there, just waiting and so eager to embrace us and take upon Himself our burdens.
For me problems, difficulties, dissapointments, etc...are an opportunity to get even closer to God.
This post really helped me in my faith! God has used our many torments and dissappointments in life to awaken us and those who are sufferying. I learnt that, in times of need especially in our spiritual life, God is there even more! I remember I was reading Hebrews and God called Himself our 'Helper'. This has shown me, whenever a phase in our spiritual life arises, God is there already waiting to help us get through it, so much so His waiting for us to call out to Him as “His Ears more audible” and “His Voice is more present” in times like this. This can also link to our communication with God, many times we feel a certain way, maybe sad or upset but when we seek God we say the opposite of how we feel, but at that moment God is waiting for us to be truthful to Him and say exactly how we feel to Him because “His Ears are more audible” as were speaking to Him. I believe in the times that we are most down is the time that God is closer to us we may not physically see or feel Him, but at that moment He is there to help us!
