Moments

"Bow down Your ear to me, deliver me speedily; be my rock of refuge, a fortress of defense to save me." Psalm 31:2

The difficult moments we face today have also been faced by David. And as he was saved, so will we. We only need to trust in God.

  2. Mrs Esther, the word TRUST speaks volumes to me right now. There is no doubt that we will overcome the battles we face in life but will we trust in the Lord...? No matter how hard the situation may be we need to keep on holding on to Him.

  3. Thank you so much. honestly I was going through a difficult moment this week and I was`nt trusting god the way that he wanted me to. This just opened my eyes to see that in difficult moments trust god When we are faced with problems there not to bring us down but lift us up learning that he is with us no matter what. Imagine David he went through troubles and he felt like "lord where are you. But he still had the assurance that god was with him. so if in are moments in life we go through a difficulty we must trust in god.

  5. Even when we are going through difficulties we should trust God our Father. God doesn't wants to see His children get hurt or suffer but wants the best for us. So no matter the circumstances He always makes a way.

  6. Hi Mrs Ester
Yes David faced difficulties in his life, but the example he left to us is this- we have to trust in God and cry out to Him, just us God honored him, we will be honored by God if we trust in Him.Amen

  7. This verse is beautiful! i was meditating on it today too. Sometimes when difficult moments arise we tend to turn to man, ask for advise or maybe even for their help. But here, it shows David's dependence on God. We now learn that rather than trying to deal with it ourselves or with the help of others, we should turn to God. We also see His great need of God's help, If God sees this faith, will He not answer?

    God bless you

  8. From my personal experience:
when you have a problem you feel like its never going to go you feel as if its always going to be there but just by trusting God and not looking on your surrounding but just having faith and Trust alone. You will come out of this problem with out knowing it.

  9. "Moments"
    Ms Ester
there are times in our lifes that we think of giving up but we need to TRUST in God because before we were born, God already Planned our journey, so he knows that there will be times in our lifes that we will want to give up...i believe in God and i learned to Trust in him because he showed me that im important to him.

  10. it is during these moments that we are closest to God but we do not realise it. we start worrying and become heavy burdened instead of just giving everything in the hands of God... hard moments will come, but it is the attitude that one will have in these moments that will lead to success or failure. i seen from personal experience that behind every hard moment, there is a blesing. thîs blessing is received by those who stands firm in their faith no matter what hard moments they are in. nomsa

  11. Its in the hardest moments that we prove our total dependence and trust in God. Its through these moments that we know God even more.
David went through many battles in his lifetime but God made a way for him every time- He saw the deliverance of God many times, i believe that these moments even aided in strengthening his relationship with God as they were always in constant communion; problems are painful in the moment we go through them, but they are also opportunities for growth in faith and in the same way God delivered David He will deliver us also.....

  12. There will never be a time when we will not face hard moments. David was a man after God's own heart, but he still faced very hard times. Those times can either make you or break you.
