The world offers many things that keeps humanity away from God, but those who come near Him and listen to His Voice have their salvation guaranteed.
its so true mrs Ester that want the world is offering right now seems so appealing but we know that not all things that shine are gold. salvation is important but yet we are easily distracted by the things of this world.
ReplyDeleteIf i think about this passage in physical terms; if i take the highway,its because i want to get to my destination quicker...the highway frees me from all the unnecessary traffic and congestion that hinder me from reaching my destination on time, if at all. So then the righteous (those who really want to be close to God and have a relationship with him)have one thing in mind- their salvation. Therefore no matter how appealing the things of this world may seem, we are willing to put them of and in so doing guarantee the salvation of our souls.

this message made me start to think really Hard about my salvation. i mean its easy to say we believe in god and everthing but if we dont have a realationship with God, then we dont have our salvation and this is the truth. Ms Ester, words cant thank you for putting this message up. the world is an illusion to me because its nothing but a lie that the devils gives us...I believe and my eyes are now open, its time to take things more serious in my spiritual life. There is no time For Giving up.
