“Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?” So they said to him, “We have not so much as heard whether there is a Holy Spirit.” Acts 19.2
For the primitive church, it was common to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit right after their belief in the Lord Jesus. Their sincere faith gave the Holy Spirit the freedom to come upon them.
Yes, I did receive the renewal of the Holy Spirit. What a beautiful, great day it was. As a personal commitment, I will do another 3 weeks of not watching TV/internet. I love being close to God without these things.
ReplyDeleteThank you UCKG!!! At the beginning I thought the campaign was going to be too much to ask or a burden on me, but the reward is big and eternal.
And there was no room for questions or doubts, they just accepted and were baptised. May our church today be just like the Primitive One and may we allow the Holy Spirit to work wonders among us. The 21 days are over but what we learnt will never finish whilst we give the Holy Spirit priority in our life.
