"The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart—These, O God, You will not despise." Psalms 51:17
Surrendering your life on the Altar without any reservations and with all your strength, heart, and understanding makes the answer of God come immediately. This is the kind of sacrifice that is most pleasant to Him, which also attracts the Spirit of God.
When we are able to surrender who we are, our dreams, our plans to live up to God's dreams and plans, we are really presenting our sacrifice. If we give up ourselves, what else will matter or will be too difficult to offer God with?
