"For the LORD has called you like a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, like a youthful wife when you were refused, says your God." Isaiah 54:6
The Lord is near the wounded, afflicted, rejected and wronged soul. It's His pleasure to heal it, deliver it and save it. But there must be trust in Him and and invitation for Him to come. If at this moment, you feel discouraged in you soul, invite Him to help you.

ReplyDeleteThank you for the message ,There is one thing I have learned in the verse is that God does not force himself on anyone but I must invite Him in my life and He will help me and heal all the wonds that are in my life

Sometimes when we go through hardships or we've been badly wounded and our heart is breaking, its easy to feel as though God isn't close by or worse still nowhere to be found! but through this verse it shows that He is closer than we could ever imagine. If He "called us as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit" it is because He already witnessed our pain and no longer wants us to bear it alone, He desires to take it away. When God calls, He calls for a reason!
