"...for the Lord your God is testing you to know whether you love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul." Deuteronomy 13:3The Lord knows us better than anyone else. When He tests us, He wants us to get to know ourselves better too. Sacrifice is the best way for us to test our faith in His Word.

Indeed God gives us an opportunity through sacrifice to express our love for Him and we are able also to measure who we are before God or how much our relationship with God is worth.
