"For the word of God is living and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit and of joints and marrow and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." Hebrews 4:12When the Holy Spirit finds a heart that is thirsty to know Him, His voice is heard in the person's spirit. From that moment on there is transformation of life.
Usually, the heart is hungry for solutions to circumstantial problems, which makes it difficult to receive His Son and Savior Jesus.
You really have to be thristy for God for Him to come to you, the same as if you needed a drink you wouldnt recieve it unless you was dying of thirst. so it shows that God doesnt just happen to go to anyone but only to those who truly want Him.
