LUKEWARM

"So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth."      Revelation 3.16
When a Christian is filled with the Holy Spirit, sacrifices and lives by faith, he is hot.
On the other hand, an unbeliever would be considered cold.
Although being cold is bad, it's still better than being lukewarm in the faith. This type of person is undefined about what he wants. Like the waves of the ocean, he does not know what he wants.

  1. You know Mrs Ester I have been meditating on this a lot recently and how important it is to define our faith and make decisions since we had the indecisive day here in London a few weeks ago. People who are lukewarm I think are very similar to those who are indecisive - they are not this way nor that way but they ride the fence, coasting in the middle; they are neither hot or cold but lukewarm. But the passage you refer to (the words of Jesus) tells us the dangers of walking in the middle. We have to decide what our faith and relationship with God is and then put all our strength into it. Its either yes, no or nothing at all!
