Thank you Mrs Ester for this message it is important to test our hearts at all time to examine if we are still in the faith and if the love and the will of God is still in our hearts for the bible say where your treasure is there will be your heart also. If our hearts are in the things of this world then the will of God is not in us. We have to constantly examine ourself lest will not fall into temptation.

God constantly tests our heart to see if really you are faithful to Him and will be faithful through whatever you go through. God already knows what is in our hearts but sometimes God does things in order for you to see what is in your heart. We have to always check the condition of our heart and always ask God to keep our heart pure and faithful to Him. as God did say blessed is the pure in heart for they will see Him.

If there is something that can corrupt the heart, then there must be something that can purify it again. The heart is corrupt if you allow things that are corrupted to dwell in it. But if you allow the Holy Spirit to cleanse it, He will be more than willing to.

ReplyDeleteWanting is something that my heart will always do but if I use what God has given me (His Word and His Spirit)there's no excuse for not watching and praying. I have to definetly be aware of what my heart wants. It makes me to learn and understand that that's why I've been told ALWAYS PUT GOD FIRST because when you put Him first your intentions are always right and you keep your mind on Him and your able to fight against wrong feelings and intentions!

Hi Mrs Ester,this is very strong our heart is the most deceitful above all things, following our heart will only lead us down the path of destruction.Instead we most use our intelligence. Our lord Jesus said we most watch and pray so we most search our heart every day and ask him to cleanse us from the things that we have let enter knowing or unknowing. The only way we can overcome is to use our intelligent faith instead of following the heart. Thanks

I will always remember to fight each and everyday for my salvation. And to never be complacent in my spirtual life.
The devil is always waiting to use things in our lives to tempt us to do his will and not God's will.
Instead of letting our heart take control of our mind, we have to let God take control and direct our minds. So that we use our intelligent faith and keep our mind on him.
That way we will never allow the devil to get a chance to work in our mind and hearts.

i really love this because everywhere i turn i hear 'follow your heart' and it is quite tempting to actually do that but the thing that i had realised is that some of the things my heart wanted was against what the bible said I should do. Thats why we have to constantly ask ourselves would what we are doing or are about to do please God or will it separate us from him because thats what the heart wants.
