"Have mercy upon me, O God, according to Your lovingkindness, according to the multitude of Your tender mercies, blot out my transgressions." Psalm 51.1David's sin was extremely serious. However, every sin is deserving of forgiveness, as long as there is sincere repentance.
David obtained repentance and forgiveness because of his sincere confession.
Today, the same mercy is available to all those who seek it.
God is great. He is love, and from love comes mercy. All that God requires is sincerity. Once we are sincere, He will hear and answer our prayer. Mercy is available to all. Thank you Mrs Ester
ReplyDeleteGod is very merciful and is available to everyone but it all depends on our sincerity when we talk to him. He is always there for us all the time,he gives us so many chances all the time we commit mistakes. It is very important for us to obey God and take his words very seriously.

Well said Mrs Ester, and it is so true that it is only through our sincerity and the acknowledgement of one's sins that he/she can get forgiveness from our Lord Jesus, and one can only be sincere if he/she acknowledge the sins committed.
