"Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your very great reward." Genesis 15.1The question that immediately comes to mind is: Was God only a shield and reward to Abraham?
Or does He continue being a shield and reward to all of his descendants, who follow his example and obey His Word?

ReplyDeleteEven nowadays God still becomes our shield if only we obey Him.When we really obey God we must rest assure that He is always with us no matter what.For an example when someone do everything you tell him to do and he does it exactly,how pleased you become,imagine God when He looked at Abraham He must have been smiling alone because nothing can make you happy like when somebody obeys you.You feel pleasure to do anything for this person.Thank you
Thanks Mrs Ester, yes we can say God is our shield because if not for his mercy the enemy would have swallow us alive because God is with us that is the resoon why the devil have no access to harm us, the moment we surrender all to him he will not leave us neither forsake us.
