"Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?" 2 Corinthians 6.14The union of a person that is born of the Spirit with a person that is not born of the Spirit has led to many disillusions in the faith.
Only a very few people that are faithful avoid having relationships with unbelievers.
They are under the impression that this person will eventually convert to God, but this goes completely against the Word of God and brings curses upon them.
It's like putting good fruit with rotten fruit in the same basket. The good fruit doesn't cure the rotten fruit, but the rotten fruit will destroy the good fruit.
Hi Mrs Esther! Thank you so much for sharing this blog post. We must be watchful with the people that are unbeliever because just like the bible says that we cannot combine darkness and light.

ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing this word light and darkness are different and they do different jobs the other light and the other darkness God wants us to bring light that is why He brought us to his light to know his word to learn his righteous ways that is why we cannot be yoked with unbelievers and be friends cause the Devil wants to take us out from the light of God.

ReplyDeleteIts true , a person of God must not expose and be in a relationship or even having attached friends outside because its even easier for them to take us out in the presence of God than for us to bring them inside or in the presence of God. so we must always be watching and praying because there's no price for our salcation.

ReplyDeleteIt is so true because those who do not believe is not easy for them to come to Jesus but is easy for them to deceive those who believe and to take them out of the presence of God , we should really be careful to see whom are we friends with.
