Ephesians 1.13Lately, Edir has been talking a lot about the Spirit of Promise. And the verse above goes further, for it speaks of the seal of the Spirit of Promise. This seal is a guarantee of God's fulfillment of His promise. That is, seal is the title of property given by the Lord Jesus.

In Philippians 3:21, the Bible says that Jesus Christ “...shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.” No matter where we are right now, our future is guaranteed. It is our destiny to be like Jesus because we have the seal of the Spirit as the His promise and it is the one that differentiates us from the rest of the world.

Hello Mrs Ester, this message for me emphaises that the spirit of God is only given to those who beleive and who make the effort to seek for it. I learn that I need to anaylse myeslf, the type of effort that I am putting to recieve the promise.
ReplyDeleteThank you for posting this message Mrs Ester because it made me realise how much we are worth to God. The verse talks about trusting after hearing the truth,and believing in it.when we first attend church we are exposed to this experiecence of trusting and believing in a stranger (for we don't know God and His works) and when we accept the experience He grants us with such SPECIAL reward of the fulfilment of His promise. I'll work on "throwing myself" more into the my trust and belief in what God has promised His people, only this way I will be able to see the promises coming true in my life and no longer have Him as a stranger tobecause of unfulfilment of promises because of my lack of trust and belief.

ReplyDeleteThis was so exciting as reading this, the fact that there is a chance for us to be sealed with the spirit of promise, i learnt that God has giving us this Spirit therefore its impossible for us not to the bare fruits of the Spirit of Promise, we say we have the Spirit of God, these promises must come into reality in our lives.
