Tho who live in faith in the Lord Jesus are not hostage to the spirit of sin. But those who live a farce of faith, then yes, they become slaves to sin. They are the ones who usually say: I can not overcome my desires, my flesh, my sins ...

When we live in submission to the word of God sin has no power over us we are the ones with power over sin ,this is such a great victory.

ReplyDeleteliving in sin is not good at all because sin is like hole that can not be filled,when ever one sin once he/she can not stop until that person decide it is enough and sin no more.This we can overcome when we have the word of God in us in order to overcome as our Lord Jesus overcame through the same word...."it is written".

Good evening Mrs Ester. It is very strong and really we are the ones who will feed our spirit or our flash, depend on us. if i feed the flash more than the spirit, the flash will lead me or vice versa.
ReplyDeleteMrs Ester, I was reading the bible the other day where it says that Jesus came to break the power of the devil through his death so we no longer need to be in bondage. If we really think about what the Lord did, we will see that we have power over sin if we decide to claim that power but if we doubt & want to desire what is wrong; if we don't hate sin, then we will never dominate it! ReplyDeleteWhen a person is protected by his/her faith , God will also give His grace and protection from all snares of the devil.Perseverance is the major action that have to be done for there will always be persecutions, tribulations and temptations for the devil is always there watching and taking chances. If we allow it we would stumble but if we know how to guard our hearts and actions these will lead us to overcome.Fear The Lord and resist sin. That's why we need to ask the Holy Spirit's guidance and protection every time and rebuke all evils that will come our way.
