"In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother." 1 John 3.10Just like light and darkness are different, the children of God are also different from the children of the devil. Jesus was the example of the Son of God and the hypocritical Pharisees were an example of the children of the devil.
To obey the Word of God is to practice His righteousness.

ReplyDeleteThat is very true Mrs Ester. It's easy to say that we are a child of God just because the person goes to church, makes a charitable work or have a position in the church. But the truth is that none of these are important to God. For God is more important what we are and not what we do or our knowledge. If are children of God then we must give bear the same fruits as Him. This makes me think of James 2: 14-18 "What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him?If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.

Hello Mrs Ester! This is true.If you are from God you have to bear good fruits, and obviously for the devil is the opposite.Like you said light and darkness do not go together.
ReplyDeletehello Mrs Esther! This is something that I strongly believe in. As children of God there must be a CLEAR differense between us and those who are of the devil. As a faithful tither this is one of my constant prayers because are a tither , we are being faithful to God therefore our finacial lives have to be different from those that dont even consider God1 and this applies to our lives to, those who Obey God must have live that Glorify Him as oppose to lives that are completely messed up and nothing to do with God. There can be NO mix or a bit of both...there has to be a CLEAR DIFFERENCE.

ReplyDeleteA child of God does not need to go around telling people that he belongs to God because a tree is known by its fruits, that is there shall be signs that differentiate people of God from those that are not of God. thanks Mrs. Ester.
