Question

"Have I not commanded you?" Joshua 1.9

Three times God had to tell Joshua to be strong and courageous. The last time, with much determination, He said: Have I not commanded you to be strong and courageous? I can hear Him say the same thing to me TODAY. For just as He was with Joshua and confirmed through Jesus that He'd be with us all the days of our lives, then wait for what?

Strong and courageous

"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1.9

God doesn't ask for the impossible. When there's a need for strength and courage, He's asking for obedience to His Will, even if we go against the whole world. Only those who persevere are strong. Only those who are determined are courageous.

The Light you need

“I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.” John 8.12

If you don't follow the Lord Jesus, you don't really understand life. You're blind and you don't even know it. You walk in darkness, that's why you fall and get hurt all the time. Being spiritually blind is worst than being physically blind.

Pleasing sacrifices

"The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart—These, O God, You will not despise." Psalms 51:17

Surrendering your life on the Altar without any reservations and with all your strength, heart, and understanding makes the answer of God come immediately. This is the kind of sacrifice that is most pleasant to Him, which also attracts the Spirit of God.

His Own

"Cast your burden on the LORD, and He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved." Psalms 55:22

Don't we have so much care for our children? If we are so full of mistakes and still behave that way with our own, how about God with His Children? The problem is that not all His children trust Him.

Rainbow

The rainbow shall be in the cloud, and I will look on it to remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on the earth.” Genesis 9.16

The rainbow is one of the signs of God's covenant with us human beings. Those who accept this covenant have the right to Divine Promises.

Wrong Pact

"Woe to the rebellious children,” says the LORD, "Who take counsel, but not of Me, and who devise plans, but not of My Spirit, that they may add sin to sin..." Isaíah 30:1

Many have had the courage to make a pact with the devil and insist on the way of rebellion. They have no fear of God. They know good and evil, so until when will they keep this way?
